"Rented 4 bicycles for our stay during the spring break week and couldn’t be more satisfied. The staff was very helpful and personable when I called to make the reservation and the bikes were waiting at the beach house for us when we arrived. A couple days later we ordered a stand-up paddleboard. They were able to do everything over the phone and had it to us within 30 minutes. Plus everything was delivered and picked up for free. Their customer service is top-notch and I will be using them for all my beach rental needs in the future."

"TERRIBLE shop, and terrible equipment. My family used this shop during our stay on St George Island. We went through over 8+ bicycles due to equipment malfunction: chains breaking/detaching, handle bars detaching, etc. The bikes themselves were very rusted, which probably added to the problems. These problems led to more than one physical injury. I watched as TWO kids in our group were physically thrown from their bikes. One when handlebars detached, and the other when the chain detached and got locked up. Thank God they were on the sidewalk instead of in the road, as they could have landed in on-coming traffic. There was no rough-housing or anything going on, one second on the bike, the next bloody on the ground. When the shop was contacted, they just wanted to blame us for misuse, and not really address the problem. Some bikes were replaced, but those had the same exact problems and also ended up breaking. Would not recommend. There are other shops on the island that take care of their equipment."

"We rented 6 bikes from Jolly Roger for the week. All of the bikes had issues. Either chains were constantly falling off or breaking completely. One had the handlebars fall off. We have two boys with serious scapes, bruises and other issues. No- I’m sorry from the owners. No will will refund you any money- nothing. I would not rent from them again *** in response to the below message. Our bikes all had rust. The boys wrecked in front of us and were doing nothing more than riding the bikes when the chain broke and caused one to wreck. The if the bikes were new they should not have as many problems as we did. The boys were no more rough on the bikes than any other teenager."
