"The doctor herself and her nurses are great. I had a procedure withy cytology done on November 27th. The doctor said results should take two weeks. They have no portal, which in this day and age is way behind the times. Two weeks was this past Monday. It’s now Thursday, and I’m still waiting for them to call me with results. The reason I’m not calling them is because Labcorps sent me the results on December 1st, four days after the procedure. This delay in letting me know from their office is unacceptable. It may make some patients extremely anxious thinking something must be wrong if it’s taking almost three weeks. I also called the week before my procedure and asked to talk to a nurse. No one ever called me back that time either. Edited to add it is now December 29, 2023. Still no call. I already know results, but it seems it doesn’t matter to them. No call is unacceptable."

"My mother needs her kidney stones removed but the surgery date keeps getting postponed. The second postponement occurred a week before surgery and the office informed me the reason was because my mother has a UTI and was prescribed antibiotics by a *Nurse Practitioner* rather than an *Infectious Disease physician*. The information was coming to me from staff over the phone after they had gone back n forth with Dr Bird. But then hours later, Dr Birds office called to inform me that now they want my mother to make an appointment with not just ANY Infectious Disease physician but the one they partner with, Dr Cairo. I guess they want to throw business his way(?). And they would not accept the idea of having my mother visit an Infectious Disease physician who is *local* to her. So now my 82yr old mother has to tolerate another long 1 1/2 hr ride, one way, for yet another nonsurgical visit. I believe some of this mess could've been avoided had Dr Bird or her staff provided instruction from the beginning which stated that **my mother would need to see Dr. Cairo should she get another UTI**. There were multiple opportunities for them to relay the instruction (i.e. during office visit, in documents provided to nursing home.) After all, Dr Bird is well aware that my mother gets frequent UTIs. I don't know if it's sloppy training/ management or, their protocols change at the drop of a hat but I find it frustrating mainly because my mother has to suffer with the stones a little longer plus the long ride. I give 2 stars instead of 1 in all fairness considering Dr Bird has placed a stent in my mother's kidney area successfully and she does appear to truly care."

"We love Dr. Bird. She did my husband's prostate surgery. She's very knowledgeable, kind and is part of my husband's great cancer team. Clean office very sweet staff. Helping through a difficult time in our lives. Thank you."

"Amazing Doctor. need to get my mother in law seen after discharge from the hospital. I called Dr. Birds office and was able to get an appointment the next day. 9 Am . Staff very friendly, welcomes you with a smiling face, goes out of the way to help their patients. Dr. Bird was ON TIME. as soon as the nurse walked out of the room , Dr. Bird was in the room within 2 mins, very friend , explained everything, answered all the questions we had. Would not recommend anyone but her."

"Incredible person.Awesome physcian. Years of frustration and harmful treatment but I am here now and deeply grateful for her knowledge and caring. Not the same old same old that is all we can do in your 10 minute visit. She takes time. You might have to wait but you would not do your self a miracle by leaving. She will take the same time with you and maybe change you life. Call them. Keep that appointment slow down take time to get the compassionate and healing care you have wanted and needed."
