"Fresh food, flavorful. We love everything we ordered. Stuffed potato, mofongo with fried pork (we wish it will have the soup to give it a little more of flavor) the lasagna was tasty, the fried ears pig was spectacular. It transported me to my country DR, so yummy. There was no fried sweet potatoes and still they apologized. Great customer services. Please keep doing what you been doing. "Pikalonga food truck is really good. It isn't one of the best ones that I have ever had but it is still amazing. I ordered the fried chicken, rice and beans, and salad along with Refresco Country Club merengue drink. So let's go ahead and start off with the details: The rice and beans were really good while being mixed together. The red beans were amazing by itself alone but the white rice it felt like some seasoning were missing. The fried chicken or as we call it in Brasil (frango a passarinho) was really good, tasty, and it was seasoned just right. I did feel as if they were to put a little bit of spiceness to it then it could've helped and taken me back home. The salad was just salad unless if somebody includes a hot sauce or some seasoning to it. The Refresco Country Club merengue drink was absolutely tasty and refreshing. It tastes just like a Japanese drink that I used to drink a few years ago. I definitely recommend it tasting it! Overall, even thpugh the food was amazingly good but the rice and fried chicken could use some extra seasoning to it. The pricing is really good as well. The next that I visit I make sure to try the beef, fried pork, and other dishes from this food truck. Keep it up the amazing job crew!!! Second Visit: Today it was my second day eating at PikaLonga and I had an amazing experience with the food. Today I went with the fried pork portion. So let's talk about it: The rice was way better than the last time. It definitely took me back home and it was delicious. It had the right amount of seasoning and a bit of spicy but not as much. This is how I like my white rice to the point where I can savor it and enjoy it. The salad was more like a mix salad and more like cold slaw. I love eating cold slaw as they are my favorite. No, the salad was not cold but it was more fun eating it since it had celery, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and the whole nine yards. I mixed it with the white rice and it was just perfect. The very first time that I took a bite out of the fried pork it felt like an explosion inside my mouth. The explosive taste was so spontaneous that I just fell back of my chair, took a deep bresth, and let a big "woooow!!! That's amazing!!!" Just like the white rice and the salad, the fried pork had the perfect seasoning and spiceness to it. Overall, the food this time definitely took me back home to Brasil, Ecuador, and Germany. Of course, I cannot drink a perfect German beer at work but if you ever had pork in Germany then you would know what I'm talking about it. The frambuesa drink was really good as well. This food truck is full of surprises and definitely worth a visit to flavor their food."
