"We’ve been going to this restaurant for many years since they first opened actually. It was exciting the food and service was excellent we looked forward to going and recommended it often Then they expanded their menu which was a real step forward Now I don’t understand what happened it’s so sad my favorite taco the Mr potato taco is no longer made with potatoes it’s just some warmed up French fries and the shrimp bowl is lettuce that looks like bag lettuce from the grocery store thrown in a bowl with a few shrimps. Even the hot sauce is average at best thank goodness the beans are still good We spent $35 for two small dinners and left wishing we went elsewhere"

"Taco Libre is a go-to local gem. The atmosphere is colorful and fun, the service is always top notch, and the menu holds one of my favorite dishes in Jacksonville. The Veggie Ceviche is a refreshing, filling, and light meal that I could easily eat every week. I prefer to eat mine with the house made tortilla chips rather than the saltine crackers they offer on-menu. This location has a very clean indoor and outdoor dining, well kept bathrooms, is very family/large group friendly, and has fantastic chips/salsa that i could genuinely eat buckets of."

"The food was fantastic. If you go for the birria make sure to pay attention if you want cheese on them or not. I've tried both and loved how flavorable and full the tacos were. I got a mango margarita and that was great too. The only thing I didn't like was the service wasn't the best. Technically I got a frozen margarita instead of on the rocks and they don't come to check on you much. Luckily I'm here for the food and it's always hot and delicious."

"It is an okay restaurant. The service was nice, prices are reasonable but the food it’s just average nothing wow about it. Again, nothing wrong about the service or restaurant, just the food didn’t had anything wow or special that makes you say “hey let’s go to that place” instead of visiting whatever is near you."

"Ordered a large order earlier tonight, it was pouring outside earlier so the ground was wet and I dropped my order. I didn't ask for it to be replaced immediately, however I asked for extra cheese sauce because it exploded inside of my bag. I was told I was going to be charged for it by Laura. I could have asked for my entire order to be replaced which she denied later. And said she was the manager. I really can't understand how a place could run with a manager like this. My wife is pregnant, and we were left with no options to eat tonight after we left. I tried to reason with Laura but she refused to work with me. When my pregnant wife called back to speak with a manager she claimed to be one, without helping. I will say, I should not have to pay for a meal that was dropped on the ground anywhere, but the disrespect in front of other people from Laura took it to another level. I will be back to personally speak with the general manager tomorrow unacceptable"
