Tandoori misfires: The lack of salt in the Tandoori chicken marinade and the absence of the customary mint chutney (also lacking salt) were disappointing omissions. Chettinad confusion: The Chettinad Chicken, a dish known for its distinct spice and peppercorn flavor, instead tasted like a sweet and creamy butter chicken. This suggests either a misstep in preparation or a different dish altogether. Overall: JaxSpice has potential, but these oversights detracted from the dining experience. Attention to detail on basic table settings and ensuring dishes reflect their traditional flavors would go a long way in elevating their game. While we enjoyed some aspects of the meal, the inconsistencies leave room for improvement. "Wow!! All I can say is WOW! My husband and I went out on a date night here and absolutely loved it! My husband got paneer biryani level 6 spice....he likes it spicy! He absolutely loved it. I got the aloo channa. Oh my goodness, cooked perfectly! We also got garlic naan. Our waiter, Myah was awesome. We will definitely be back & I highly recommend!"

"As a South Asian myself, I was coming into this restaurant with a hope to find some good authentic food. It was absolutely amazing, from the food to the service! My boyfriend and I got some popular cocktails along with the famous samosas and chicken tikka masala. Both were delicious and it makes this a "cravings" restaurant for some filling amazing food. A recent update was that they had tablet menus, which was so convenient. It's definitely a step-up and a must try Indian restaurant when you're in Jacksonville!"
