"My family doctor did not feel comfortable prescribing meds for Mental Health. I felt that being on Prozac for 35 years at the same dosage should be reviewed and maybe even discontinued. I Had to wait many weeks for an appointment. I spent about 45 minutes filling out paperwork for a patient history. I spent another 10 updating a day before the session. The Doctor did not even look at it and was unprepared. After determining I was not going to harm myself or others; he got rid of me. If he had read my patient history, my request was for a change in medication. It would have saved time. He spent less than 30 minutes with me to get the sense I wasn't suicidal. Then told me he would pass me off to a therapist by sending out my name to his group and see who was interested in working with me. Hey, Let me see who wants to work with you Loser! LOL Like I am going to trust Him? or your business! I also feel that seeing patients on zoom is very impersonal, especially for a psych, especially for one in my own neighborhood."
