"My son Reid goes to kaylee! He loves her so much. When we first started coming here a few months back I was so nervous leaving my baby with anyone for an hour. But he lights up as soon as he see’s her. I’ve also seen so much improvement since he’s started coming here. She informs me of everything they did when I come pick him up & keeps me updated on any concerns. We are so blessed to have found speech matters & can’t thank kaylee enough for all she does!"
"My daughter is 11, and non verbal autistic. Has been attending for almost 3 years. I grew to trust and like her therapist very much, as my daughter is not easy to manage at times. After about 2 years, the therapist requested to have sessions with my daughter ALONE. I was fine with it, by now the therapists knew her well, and was aware of the SIBS and occasional aggressive stimming. Idk what happened in that room, but the therapist cut short the session, as my daughter began banging her head, and scratching the therapist. The therapist was shaken, but began making a bunch of medical assumptions and recommendations about my daughters sibs, even though she already sees trained medical doctors for the issue. As far as im aware, this is the FIRST incident, in 3 years, the company decided to cut off my daughters services, with no parents meetings or input as to how to possibly remedy the situation, such as, having me come back in the room, even though the therapist did request alone sessions. They took it upon themselves to cut her services, without any type of meetings or talks. This obviously is not in the best interest of the child, is extremely cold, and will stunt her progress as it was, and well, not to mention any bond she had with that therapist, gone. I would recommend you find a company more apt to work with parents through these incidents through communication, rather than just a cut off. I will also be filing a complaint through the insurance."
"Speech matters has been an absolute blessing to my family. My son has been going here since February and I've been extremely impressed by the staff. Katie has been working with my son from the beginning and has been so loving and caring towards him. My son is two turning three in October. He was diagnosed with Autism this last summer and can be very hard to handle at times. Despite his undesirable behaviors, Katie has never given up on him and has gone out of her way on multiple occasions to find us the help we need. My son has also worked with Alodia and Jennifer on few occasions and they've also provided my son with QUALITY care. I've never walked into their office and experienced bad service. All the staff and genuinely amazing people. Not only is my son progressing with his speech everyday, he loves to be there and never wants to his session to end!"
"Amazing crew here! They really get to know your child, and they truly care. We drive an hour each way for every appointment, and it is so worth it! The progress my daughter has made here is incredible! 10/10 recommend Speech Matters!"
