"The doctor was very nice however the staff is incompetent. Voicemails which I recorded myself placing they claim I never left, charged me for visits they said I didn’t schedule and when I called to see if the appointments were scheduled they’d never respond or transfer me to people I’d have to leave a voicemail for again not being called back. I talked to the office manager a hand full of times and she claimed she never spoke to me ever before. Still charging me for a visit I didn’t schedule for July and STILL trying to figure out."

"I am rating this facility as a 1. I have requested to speak with my son’s doctor. I have had no luck because the staff will lot allow me to speak with her. What is the best way to speak to the doctor Beverly Brown? Or does the medical opinion of doctors don’t count anymore?"

"This place is comparable to a prison you can't leave you wake up when your told you go to sleep when told and do everything the staff tell you to do no matter how ridiculous it sounds. I was a teenager in the kids unit. They have tv but forget about even watching it because they put on tv shows made for toddlers which nobody can stand its almost like they do it on purpose to torture us. The staff are very disrespectful and treat the patients like dogs in a pound. There are a few good staff that actually care and want to help you but its a very little percentage every other staff member couldn't care less on how you feel and are just there to get paid and go home. In any other job that would be completely normal but this place is a HOSPITAL for MENTAL HEALTH where people go to get better. Many of the staff trash talk the patients behind their backs and act like we can't hear them. I had one incident with a tech there when he was abusing his power all I said to him was that it made no sense to have assigned seats when we are doing absolutely nothing anyways and he came up to me in a fighting stance looked me straight in the eyes and said to my face "what are you gonna do about it" I was already not in a good mood and he was trying to instigate me to fight him my guess is to make me stay longer or to administer tranquilizer which they do for any little thing. Don't get me started on the food I get its a hospital and the food isn't gonna be amazing but if you don't eat you can't go home I had to pretend like I was eating to get out of there because the food was so ungodly awful I felt like throwing up after one bite. This place likes to power trip a lot because they know the patients can't do anything about it. I was forced to go here by a police officer which was a compete and total a hole.PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT WILLINGLY PUT YOUR CHILDREN IN THIS FACILITY!!!"

"My son had an exparte order, they helped him get out of the psychosis he was in and actually put him on the meds he’s supposed to be on.. The social worker and the Dr went above and beyond to communicate with me. Thank you Park Place for leading me in the right path for better care for my autism schizophrenia son.. He’s happy to be home."

"My sister was admitted here after an episode. The nurses and staff were absolutely wonderful to her. She was given medication that helped her and also with the followup appointments for counseling they were wonderful as well. I highly recommend Park Place to everyone that is having issues. The staff, nurses, and doctors are amazing. I see a lot of negative reviews on here however patients is a virtue and everyone that goes there is having something that they need help with. be kind to one another, and be open to the help that you need because you will get it at Park Place."
