"My son has ODD and ADHD and we have been with positive behavioral solutions for a little over a year it took months to even get a therapist then ours put in her 2 weeks and we have waited another 3 weeks since her last day with no information on a new therapist or any other options presented. Unfortunately it has caused my son to regress. I’ve left multiple voicemails and spoken with multiple people who all say they will call back and have not had any responses. Will likely be finding new services."
"Alexandra and Danielle have been a great help to me. I am very appreciative of this agency. My daughter and son have also received help from PBS . Alexandra helped and encouraged my daughter to get her high school diploma despite her wanting to give up. Thank you PBS."
"Complete waste of time! Waited four months for an appointment. After finally getting an appointment with a therapist, I only saw her TWICE. She disappeared and I never heard from her again for any other appointments. They then scheduled me a new therapist per my request, not knowing it would reset the whole situation and I’m starting from scratch. First therapist already knew I wanted my child on medication and I was going to get him clinically evaluated to do so. The. The put me a therapist that speaks primarily in SPANISH. Yes I speak Spanish but I NEVER requested a Spanish speaker as I feel more comfortable speaking English and my son doesn’t know a lick of Spanish. I cancelled my appointments with her as my child needs MEDICATION and therapy has proven NOT to work. Waste of my entire time with these people."
"I was seen by 2 therapist here. The first therapist literally abandoned me mid therapy. I am healing and upon sharing this with her, she became increasingly agitated and told me I "ran out" of insurance covered therapy sessions. In fact it was the therapist who was REQUIRED to call my insurance to insure I in fact did not "run out" of sessions. 3 months later I called them back. I requested to see a different therapist who had such a attitude I couldn't work with her. After telling her I didn't feel we were a good fit, She walked off camera and returned with a medical history file an inch thick and said "this is yours." She then told me Good luck. I am not a random file of papers, I am a human being. I hope no other person has to suffer this terrible and irresponsible behavior of "professionals". Please run don't walk from this office."
"I started speaking to a counselor intern toward the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic and it has been exactly what I needed. They offer counseling via zoom to accommodate for social distancing recommendations which has made scheduling and showing up for appointments very convenient. I’ve struggled in the past to find a good therapist, let alone one I can afford, so being able to speak to an intern at no charge has made a huge difference for me. This is such a stressful time and having these resources available makes things a bit more bearable."
