"Would give 0 stars, if possible. Made my appointment over a month and a half in advance. Confirmed this would be "in-person" meetings. Was told they would be reaching back out the week of my appointment to confirm. Fast forward to the week of my appointment, I don't hear from the office at all. I call them the day before my appointment 5 or 6 times, unable to get anyone all day, even after leaving multiple voicemails (This was a Tuesday). Fast forward to the day of my appointment, I call another few times as nobody was answering the phone (still). Finally, get someone on the phone to confirm my appointment. I then receive a callback later from the office, letting me know they won't have any therapists available to meet with me in person, only telehealth. Why was none of this mentioned on the initial phone call a month and a half prior? Why wait until DAY OF to let me know they have no one to meet in person, when a month and a half prior, I specifically confirmed meeting IN PERSON and with a MALE therapist. Yet the day of, I am told telehealth only and with a female? The office claimed they were "being courteous" for letting me know, yet when I asked why none of this was communicated prior, I was told, "I dont know what to tell you". This is why mental health in America is becoming worse and worse. Garbage providers treat patients like dirt."
"My daughters therapist was only available Fridays and after the therapist got covid had started limiting patients, one affected being my 5 year old daughter who just became comfortable with them. Now I'm having a hard time finding another place for her."
"Dr. Beltran is great! Office staff needs a little help but he makes it worth it. He is so patient and knowledgeable. Just wish he took more insurance plans!"
"Wish I could do half a star. Rude reception desk. Counselors only reachable one day of the week. Counselors never call you back. I was charged a $50 fee to fill out a form for my insurance and it was incorrectly filled out, called to have this corrected and was told my counselor was not authorized to fill out this form. Really? These people straight up do not care in my personal opinion. While waiting in the lobby another customer was upset that her counselor stood her up. Don't add stress to your life by coming to this place."
"The office personal do not seem organized and are not very helpful. When asked questions, they were short and rude in their responses. They keep their sliding window at the desk closed and it looks like they can’t be bothered with anything. I was told they weren’t excepting Cigna when i already was told otherwise and the lady retracted with the same question she asked a few minutes ago “is she a new patient”. I said no for the second time. It’s as though she just wanted to brush me off so she can focus on more important things. Her facial expressions and tone said it all too. I told her i had been there a few months ago and she kept saying we’re not excepting new patients and i had to tell her twice she wasn’t new. She explained well if it’s been a while then she’d be considered new. I said well if it’s been a few months is that considered new which i thought was strange. She didn’t answer that question and proceeded to disregard that question and went ahead to finally ask for the name to verify and when she did, she’s like yeah it’s been since December she hasn’t been here which doesn’t explain anything to me other than she’s not new and her insurance has been accepted before to finally tell me well the counseled doesn’t have anything till April. It was like going around in circles begging for solutions. The reason for this review is to disclose what to expect when going to that office. My thing is if I’m going to a mental health facility seeking help, how much help can this office offer. The counselor that we spoke with the first time was good but if it means going through these constant hoops with the front office every time, not sure how much help i will receive. And it was the same experience the first time i visited the office. So i think it’s safe to say there’s a pattern there that’s less than pleasurable to seek counseling from. Hope this helps somebody."
