"This was before advent took over but who knows if the same ob is there. I’ve been holding in this trauma for a long time now. I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. The ultrasound nurse was polite but the silence instantly made me know something was wrong. She came back with a dr and she stated there was no heartbeat on my twins. I showed no emotion I was 18 and in complete shock of what was going on. Then she had the AUDACITY To say “you don’t seem surprised that this happened” well maybe I was so heart broken that I had nothing to say . I WAS surprised ,the comment was completely unnecessary and uncalled for. 18 years old and my twins had no heartbeat. I was in the office with a friend and the dr completely violated my privacy by mentioning personal information without asking if it was ok to speak about In front of my friend . Worst place to ever get care at. 0/10 0 stars . Hopefully advent hired new employees."
"I've been trying to get my lab results for over a week now (when I was told it would take three days). They don't answer their phones, and they don't update their patient portal--or it randomly wipes your info like it did to me--which makes setting appointments or getting results infuriating. Between my two jobs, I'm lucky if I find time to make it across town to the office before it closes. The doctor prescribed a pill, told me to "go back for another in three days if I need it," and didn't follow up at all. Do I go to the office? Do I go to the place I got the first pill? These could've been answered over the phone (if someone would pick up!) but since my work schedule clashed, I couldn't return to the office. When I returned to the pharmacy, they said there wasn't anything else for me. I'm in constant pain, I can't get through to anybody to figure out what's wrong, and I only get time to drive up once a week due to my schedules. It's been grueling. Now, communication breakdowns aside, the Advent staff is very nice. In person, they treated me very well, and were exceedingly polite. The offices were clean and the doctor was patient with me. I felt safe and happy in their care, but the second I left, I couldn't get a hold of anyone for anything...which makes it hard to feel like I can rely on them for care."
"I've not had an issue with wait times here, longest I've had to wait to get in was about half an hour and that's pretty much only because I got there 15 minutes early. The reason for the four stars is because my last appointment I went in for my routine prenatal checkup and I I couldn't tell you the male doctor's name, he didn't tell me. He came in and asked if I "had any questions" and when I shrugged and replied no he said all right I'll see you in 3 weeks. Not only that but his body language displayed that he was very stressed and at the point of not really caring. Honestly everyone else has been fantastic."
"Not that this review will actual mean anything to the office (they don't seem them type to care about what their patients experience). Most UNPROFESSIONAL office I've ever experienced and I didn't even make it to the back to see the doctor. I was a new patient scheduled at 1pm (during my lunch hour). I got there at 1230 and the woman at the counter did say hello or even open the glass window between us. I signed in and sat down. During that time I waited 30minutes and watched as pizza was delivered and she ate her desk, all the while not even checking the sign in sheet. At 1 pm the window to get the sign in sheet and when I asked how long it would be she said they were at lunch from 12-1 and that's why I wasn't given paperwork. I explained to her that my appointment was at 1 and I was told to come early to fill out paperwork and that how would I be called back if I still haven't done paperwork. She then tried to talk down to me by saying that you should give yourself an hour for ANY Dr appointments. I happen to be the front office supervisor for a very busy and prominent surgeon and would never have our staff tell someone to come in for an appointment time and not be ready for them. Much less have a new patient come in and not even get a "hello". If they schedule patients then they should be available to assist them appropriately, not have them sit for half an hour without any kind of communication. Not to mention the condition of the office was in shambles."
"I scheduled an appointment for my first prenatal checkup . I drove by the office to see the upkeep the day before. I decided to walk inside and see if they could see me the same day. I was lucky and they were able to see me the same day. The staff was very friendly , but very noisy . They left the door open and a homeless man walked right in the office in the back . They didn't notice because they were too busy talking . They all had personal conversations going on. When I got my blood drawn I was surprised. The lab tech was great! She did an excellent job drawing my blood . I was able to get my first sonogram as well .I was able to get in and out. I only saw the nurse practitioner . But everything was gear except they need to be more quiet and remember they are at work not a restaurant . They need to keep their conversations to a minimal ."
