Reviews
"Dr. Salisbury is sincere, genuine and experienced. I had quite a positive experience and very comfortable with her. I have been with for a few years and recently had a procedure. The procedure went well. I spent 5 days in the hospital, was seen by her every day. Kudos Dr. Salisbury!"
"Lovely and professional staff, especially the nurses. The office, however is dirty, especially the bathroom. I had 3 scheduled appointments, and only the first one was with the doctor herself. I was fortunate enough to have had a child prior, so I was familiar with the lifestyle changes that had to be made, but this information is not part of the routine visit. Instead the office offers a monthly online group meeting to go over these essentials. It's scheduled during the week and during rush hour, so I missed the first one. The following month is when they covered lots of crucial topics, like avoiding sushi and cold cuts and similar simple but important advice. My biggest gripe is that during each of my visits, I was given the same sales pitch for the doctor's preference for vaginal deliveries. I do not disagree that vaginal deliveries are a wonderful option for many reasons, but my situation is different and my physiology dictated the safest route would be a cesarean. I mentioned this in each of my visits, only to be given the vaginal delivery sales pitch. It wasn't until I brought it up in the public zoom meeting with other patients that the doctor acknowledged that there are scenarios where a cesarean is preferable... but the most worrisome thing about this all is... that after transferring to another doctor, and my new doctor went over all of the notes with me, she asked me about Dr. Salsbury including a preference for vaginal delivery despite the notation of my physiological issue which would make for an unreasonably laborious, long, and possibly dangerous birth. I wasn't going to write up a review, but for a couple of months now I couldn't keep it quiet. Overall, Dr. Salsbury has a lovely manner, and she does seem to genuinely care about her patients, but her approach is questionable, which is why I ranked the practice 1 star."
