Dr. Amy Hearne

Dr. Amy Hearne is a dedicated gynecologist located at 6800 Northwest 9th Boulevard in Gainesville, Florida. She is passionate about helping women improve their quality of life and achieve their dream of starting or extending their families. Dr. Hearne graduated magna cum laude from Pennsylvania State University before earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from Syracuse medical school. She completed her OB/GYN residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Hearne has a wealth of experience in the field, including editing for The Johns Hopkins Manual of Obstetrics and Gynecology and authoring articles on various women's health topics. She has also traveled to Thailand to help set up a cervical cancer screening program. After working at Women’s Health Care Associates in Annapolis, MD and Suffolk Gynecology Group in Long Island, New York, Dr. Hearne now calls Northeast Florida home with her husband and two daughters.
