Aaron Shelby: Allstate Insurance

"This is not someplace I would do business, except for the insurance crisis in Florida. I got a home owners policy here through Gabrielle Bantugan. I will start by giving credit where it is due: the lady was polite, friendly, and responsive -- at least until I signed the contract. FIRST ISSUE: A few months later I got a roommate which means, according to Gabrielle, you have to tell your insurance that it's partially "rented" (with a roommate) or else you might not be covered if something happens. Well I called her twice in July, and then emailed her in July and September - no response. So if there's an issue going forward that's going to be on them. SECOND ISSUE: harassment. If you are one day late on your policy premium (which can only be paid through an even more obnoxious portal only accessible from a desktop computer and with NO AUTOPAY) they blow up your phone and email nonstop. And in my case, I travel a lot for work, and when you're on a job site in California and they call at 6am local time every day-- it's obnoxious. So here's a suggestion: offer auto pay. Or stop calling me. I'll get to it when I get to it. They must only get paid when you pay your premium. THIRD ISSSUE: when I submit a request in writing to stop harassing me-- it continues."
