"UPDATE: 2023 Be cautious of Allstate and/or this agency. - In 2020, I joined Allstate through the Borbolla Agency. They initially quoted me a reasonable price of $585 for my condo insurance in Miami. However, the premium nearly DOUBLED to $1086 just a year after that, in 2021 (there were no claims that year). I objected, but I was told that "all policies are increasing," or something along those lines. I posted a negative review in order to warn others, but I maintained the insurance. Now, two years later, in 2023, I find that the cost of my insurance has nearly DOUBLED yet again, to $1,959. (**Note: I had an apartment flood and received a claim number, but I never filed a claim for payment. I handled everything myself. They still sent me a “denial letter,” although I never asked for reimbursement because the claim number was out of caution). In any case, I've only been with their company for THREE YEARS, and my premium has nearly DOUBLED, TWICE. I am not unreasonable. I obviously expect incremental increases, even by a few hundred dollars, with renewals, but nearly DOUBLING, TWICE, within THREE YEARS? Really? Beware. ORIGINAL REVIEW 2020: I like the Allstate app, policy and website, BUT this agency is suspiciously close to running a "Bait-and-Switch" with their practices. I joined Allstate just one year ago, though this agency, and on my FIRST yearly renewal they DOUBLED the premiums on my Condo policy (Roughly from $580 to $1100). No detailed explanation was given by them other than, - These are rough times and rates have changed. - Additionally, it took me FOUR calls and separate conversations with multiple sales staff, over the course of two weeks to get someone to look at my policy to see if I can save anything and explain the rate change. When I first became a customer, all quotes and agreements to sign up were taken care of in one call (with follow-up email). I have not decided if I am staying with them because the ALLSTATE rates might actually be competitive but, getting people to sign up with a low entry rate and doubling that rate a year later, while also not being responsive to questions, is not professional to say the least."

"The worst car insurance company I have ever dealt with. Not only their premiums were double those of the Hartford but so persistent on making you use the GPS device that was borderline insulting in addition to penalizing you greatly if you declined to use it. Make yourself a favor and try other insurance companies really interested in serving the customer."

"Absolutely the worst. Jason Killings was extremely rude and condescending and his associate Giuliana is clueless. We were with the agency for more than a decade and had left abruptly due to horrendous customer service and how we were treated. To be head of operations and have such poor customer service is abysmal. There are so many other more professional and knowledgeable brokers in Florida. I would highly recommend using them before using this agency with these two. Unfortunately it always comes down to the people that work there and their customer service skills. Horrible."
