"As I was wondering around the store a good natured employee by the name of Zach approached and asked if he could help in any way. I told him the club and shaft that I was looking for. He looked and found it. He suggested that we go to the hitting bay to hit some demo clubs in order to confirm that the club was right for me. He stayed with me the whole time and saw that I was struggling. He offered great suggestions and put together numerous combinations until we got it right. His patience, attitude, product knowledge, and efficiency really made my day. And yes I did order the club. It’s not always easy dealing with the public and it takes a special attitude to avoid devolving into having an impatient, snarky attitude. Zach passed the test in spades with his concern and special attitude."
"Worst customer service I ever receive by a guy named Lee. I was ready to try and purchase clubs. This employee was so rude to my family with 2 young kids that made our experience terrible. I am a business owner and would never hire or keep such an unpleasant and bitter employee like him. Even other coworkers know him as a daily downer. Awful experience!"
"I frequent the Delray SS regularly to use the driving range. I have bought multiple sets of clubs from PGA and other accessories and found the staff to be generally courteous and helpful! In fact, my son worked at the PGA superstore in Plymouth Meeting, PA for a couple of years, I spent a lot of time there, and have a pretty good feel for how the stores work (Plymouth Meeting is a great store). My other son and I visited the Delray store on 12.12.23 at around 11:30AM, and were told there was a wait for a bay. I waited about 20 minutes and went back to check only to find there were 2 open bays...my beeper never went off. Zach called back to Matt (club fitter) and asked him to set us up in the bay. Matt came back and while setting up the computer I asked him if we could play a game as opposed to practice mode. His response was very condescending and he couldn't have been more dismissive. After a little back and forth with a lot of attitude, I finally got more specific asked if we could play 18 holes on this machine. His response was NO! He set us up with in the practice mode and walked away. I was irritated enough to go up and ask Zach (courteous) if we could play a round on the machine and he also responded NO. By the time I got back to the practice bay, my son had a round of 18 set up on the "Myrtle Beach" course. Despite the antiquated practice bays at this PGA, we actaully enjoyed the round of 18. I have only wasted my time 2 or 3 times ever to write a review, but Matt's attitude was outrageous. I am also not at all sensitive but if he didn't want to deal with setting up a round, he could have just said there's no such thing on the antiquated machines they have...it was the all out attitude that pissed me off. So, I just wasted 5 minutes of my time to express my disgust at this very unusual level of poor service that I have never experienced at any PGA store."
"I visited this store for the first time last week and it will be my last time. I wanted to change out the shaft on one of my clubs. When I walked in, the young clerk at the counter said "How may I help you sir?" I am a woman and do not look like a man. I nicely corrected him but received no apology. I explained what I wanted and he called a service rep. The Service Rep was rude and grouchy. Still, he found the shaft I wanted and I didn't have time to go anywhere else. I purchased the shaft and was told that the club would be ready in 48 hours and that I would receive a call when ready. Over 1 week later, I had received no call so I had to call and ask. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Maybe if I had been a man, I would have received better service."
"David Barraza! I am hesitant to share the fantastic club fitting experience I had - because David added 30 yards to my drive and I don't want my golfing buddies to also get the extra length! But all kidding aside: My fitting experience with David was phenomenal. He didn't try to change my swing - he picked clubs that worked for me. His patience, expertise, experience and the phenomenal use of technology was astonishing! If you want to improve your game, and get the right clubs for you - then go see David!"
