Meg Segreto's Dance Centre

"My girls grew up in this dance studio. Both started at 3 and my youngest continued until she graduated. She is now a professional dancer in NYC. Meg's has brought to our lives lifelong friendships and a sense of family. After watching many other recitals, I feel there is not much that compares out there. The teachers are dedicated and professional. There are not too many companies where you can find committed staff that have been there for 20+ years. It is more than a place of dance. It is a place where girls learn commitment and dedication, how to prioritize their time, and the importance of working together. Meg along with the rest of the staff, teaches the girls not only how to dance, but to value and take pride in themselves. Volunteers continue to come back and help long after their children have graduated and moved on. All the teachers are always willing and available to talk to the student and or the parent if you feel you need some one on one. They are open to new thoughts and ideas. I have seen many studios in many states and I can honestly say this one is incredible!"

"I danced at Meg's for 11 years (3-18) and have continued to take class, attend shows, and have lasting relationships with all of the staff. The training I received at Meg's was top-notch, but I have so much more to thank them for than my dance technique. "Meg Segreto's is an amazing studio, and I can't imagine having my daughter dance anywhere else. I grew up dancing, and I never enjoyed the quality and variety of instruction that Meg's provides. All of the teachers are tremendously talented and creative, and many are former students. It says a lot that they want to come back to teach in the same studio where they trained. Meg typically has class with the older girls, and I couldn't wait until my daughter was old enough to work with her directly. I just spent three days watching this year's dress rehearsal, and it is a joy to see all the girls progress year after year. My daughter joined Meg's at five, and every year I see her and her company group move closer to Meg's goal of preparing them to be professional dancers, and more importantly they grow closer to each other. The girls and teachers are truly a family. The many hours they spend together over the years has created an unbreakable bond. Next Saturday, the seniors will perform one last time, and the tears will flow as they leave the group. Then in September, the new three year olds will arrive, and the circle that is Meg Segreto's will get a little bigger because the girls become lifelong friends."
