Apps Pizza

"Small unassuming place. Their menu consist of pasta dishes, pizzas , hot and cold subs. It's a seat yourself kind of place... Think.. small town local pizza place where they know you.. this is Apps! The service is always very good, portions are very good... There is a very good chance you will strike up a conversation with the folks at the next table.. this is Apps! This is the kinda place we need and want... No chains, nothing overly fancy or pretentious... Just really good service and really good food.. Yup, we like it here and will be back."

"We got boneless wings, onion rings, and a large pepperoni, bacon and tomato calzone. The wings were a little dry, but nothing a little Bleu cheese couldn't fix. Onion rings were perfectly crispy. The calzone had the tomato sauce baked into it, and so in addition to the tomato we added, it was quite soggy. However, the crust on the top and edges of the calzone tasted pretty good. If we're ever on that side of town, I'd try their pizza or a sub. I'd rate 3.5 stars on food, but I'm rounding up because service was perfectly attentive without being bothersome."

"Good food! Enjoyed it and would return. Will update on my next trip back! Edit: I did return (several times) and I'll say I'm not a fan of their burgers but their pizza is absolutely delicious! Loved it and gotta say I'll definitely return for more!"
