"Had to give them 1 star was the lowest it would go I purchased insurance for my box truck the company that they sold me Accredited Specialty insurance come to find out they are not registered with DMV so that means your drivers license will get suspended we had one suspected for 9 months and you can't get or renew your registration and then try to get it fixed it took over 9 months and still not fixed as of today it is still not in dmv so I was told to flat cancel and I would get what I paid in for my full policy I was told 5 to 7 days that was weeks ago and now they stopped responding to me completely good luck if you go through this company you may get a company that's not even set up with DMV"
"The rep. never got back to me. I was sent a nonrenewal notice from my insurance company, so I called Direct Property and Casualty Insurance. I had to leave a message. The rep. called me back. This call went well. He told me what I had to do for them to find me insurance with a new company. I got my inspections. I called back. I was never able to speak with my rep. again. I left messages. Nothing. I asked to speak to a manager. After a long wait the agent said no manager was picking up. I left another message. My policy was expiring in a week. I took matters into my own hands and found a new insurance company to work with."
"To Whom It May Concern, I had a great experience with Mr. Jesus Melo, Here is why. I Homayoun Ramezani have car insurance since February 1993. Since l move to this country. I was with many insurance companies including Progressive as l am now. Many of my and many of others people are frustration with insurance companies, because when we asked any questions. The insurance company's staff never answer the question right. For that reason we are seeing the insurance companies as a crook and dishonest and sadly we have to deal with them. For the first time l must take it back to some extent. And I wish most or perhaps all of your staff including President and Vice president be honest and helpful as Mr. Jesus Melo. Mr. Jesus Melo, not just he is honest and helpful also he educates his clients. For sure it is not just make a better relationship between Client and company also build a trust. For sure Mr. Jesus Melo put his integrity and dignity first. His honesty did change my view of the company. I hope people around him can see and recognize his integrity and his honesty. We never can be wrong with honesty. Please keep in mind. Saying be honest is not the same as being honest. That is why, make Mr. Jesus Melo so different than other people, that l am talking with in last 25 years."

"This is THE WORST Insurance Company EVER!!! DO NOT endeavor ANY policies with this company. I made the mistake of changing my auto then home owners and it was the WORST experience ever. There is absolutely NO customer support...I had to handle the closing of my home owners with NO help or response from the CSR. I was even contacted by the Florida CFO Division of Insurance and Agency Services about infractions from these people. I kid you not...I JUST called today after I was TOLD I would be contacted the same day I called in regards to my home owners and auto insurance. Guess What...YEP...no return call. Below is an exert from an email that I sent the FL Ins Board inn regards to THEIR inquiry to these people. I am unaware if anything was ever done...but I do now specifically that the agent that mislead me mysteriously left the company AFTER I was contacted. Anyway...be advised that MY experience and the correspondence I have via email proves these people are a joke. Stick with your current carrier. EXERT from my Communication with the FL CFO" " The communication from Direct was NOT clear and I was verbally told things pertaining to my policy from (Agents name withheld) that later had severe | monetary consequences. Basically my quoted policy price went from $1,156.00 to $1,986.00! I JUST excepted a policy written for $1,486.00 AND my coverage’s are now less and my deductibles have now increased from $1,000 to $2,500. This is all because (Agents name withheld) DID NOT communicate the truth to me. I was told on one instance that my current wind mitigation would suffice. AFTER I agreed to write the policy and the prior coverage was cancelled I received a call from (Agents name withheld) stating I needed a NEW wind mitigation. NOW, I am VERY definitive when I speak and I specifically asked her if my current wind mitigation was good and if it was not, then there would be no point in moving forward, She stated yes, it will work. That was not the case and the result was an increase in policy.""
