"My 9 year old daughter with no experience has had her second lesson. Katrina is very patient, knowledgeable, and positive. She teaches them how to tend to the horse from beginning to end and to ride. These lessons have helped my daughter to be excited to have responsibility and has given her more self esteem."
"What an amazing facility! The trainer works with people and horses of all ages and skills at their level. Would recommend her to anyone looking to start riding or already riding at a higher level. Her horse training methods really produce excellent results as well!"
"Highly recommend not riding here as it is extremely disorganized (riders of all ages and skill levels were riding at once—walking, trotting, cantering, and jumping in all different directions with little to no supervision or technique correction, especially with the students attempting to jump on their own and appearing not well trained or assisted, which is a massive cause for safety concerns). At one point Katrine the “trainer” left the ring unsupervised to go inside—and it seemed all riders were essentially training themselves and free to canter/jump at their own will. Also the website states 30 min lessons are $40 and 60 minute lessons are $65, however we were overcharged $50 for the 30 minute lesson, in which, after ten years of riding experience, I only trotted in circles and cantered twice on my own while Katrine had 6-7 other riders in the ring (which could only logistically fit maybe 2-3 riders) at the same time. Website also only specifies that the 30/60 minute lessons can be requested to be private or group. We were under the impression it would be private, however we were disappointed and concerned of the lack of communication and consideration of the amount of people in the ring, with no forewarning or safety considerations. It seems like she’s just trying to squeeze out as much capital as she can. If you actually want a beneficial riding experience that will help you learn and progress while remaining safe, and actually have the trainer’s concentration, don’t come here for lessons or boarding."
"Would not recommend riding or learning here. The lesson was highly disorganized and the varying skill levels of riders combined with the confined space in the ring (about 6-7 horses at once) made for an unsafe environment. It was not specified that it would be a group lesson prior to arriving. One horse was jumping while others were cantering in its path. They appeared more interested in squeezing as much money out of one time slot as possible rather than actually providing a quality lesson for the riders."
"Great staff, very good with children while teaching proper riding techniques for jumping my daughter is taking lessons here and could not be more exited"
