"I would never recommend the Cleveland Heights location for an after school program. While the director is very friendly and willing to help, their staff of young college kids do not care about these kids at all. My child went there and was bullied and pushed by other kids. She came home with marks several times, but none of the so called counselors saw anything because they are too busy in their phones or laughing and talking. The way they speak to our kids is unacceptable. Telling children that nobody asked you, telling them there is always a problem with them when the child comes to them for assistance. I wrote an email to their main customer service office, and not one person reached out. My child was called racial slurs and the counselor thought it was funny. They do not have cameras in any of the rooms for the safety of the kids.My child was literally afraid to go back here after 4 weeks in the program."

"I have been going to the Y for years and have made many long term friendships. For me, working out in the weight room, participating in yoga classes, and getting regular aerobic exercise along with making new friends is all I could ask for, The instructors are all top notch. The other Y employees have always been polite and willing to hep when needed."

"I have been a member at the Y for over 8 years. I love this place. The group fitness classes are plentiful and great workouts. The pool is a great assets to use for group classes or for lap swimming. Having child care available while working out is an added bonus. Having helpful and friendly staff plus meeting other members in classes helps to really cement the sense of community that you get with the Y."

"I am a nation wide YMCA member and was in town visiting and made a stop by the Lakeland Family YMCA. The staff was very enthusiastic and helpful when I was down. Showed me around the facility and my son and I were able to play some racquetball together against some other friendly members. Loved the atmosphere here and would love to come back when I visit again!"

"Came here with my child and had a great time. We were greeted and given a tour of the building. We enjoyed our time at the pool and in the basketball gym. Would recommend to any family looking for something fun to do!"
