"I was referred here by my gynecologist. The front desk was very nice. But they wanted me to sign a document about hypnosis, visualization, etc stating that i agree to it but i told them i am not looking to do that and i do not feel comfortable signing something that i do not feel comfortable with since i do not agree to it. The therapist introduced herself to me and was extremely patient and nice but said she could not start the session without the paper and i waited for her supervisor. The supervisor had bad energy from the start. She tried to tell me that they will not perform hypnosis if i dont want to but i still have to sign the form so they can work with other techniques and breathing. I expressed that I don’t feel comfortable signing because that is not what the paper states and i do not need those techniques. Finally, she agreed and told the therapist with a bad sarcastic attitude to do just talk therapy with me but that it’s not going to help and she wont have much to work with. I then apologized and said I’m going to find somewhere else because i no longer feel comfortable in that environment and she said that they might charge me $50 because i signed a paper agreeing to a $50 cancellation fee. At this point you can guess i was very upset and i got rude with the lady and told her to keep the $50 if she needs it so badly. It’s not my fault that she didn’t create a safe environment in a so called “behavioral center” that is supposed to help make people feel better and safe. This older woman did the complete opposite. This is the same reason why it has taken me so long to find a therapist, most aren’t actually willing to help. The therapist and the front desk were so nice and then comes the supervisor with a huge horrible ball of negative energy with malice."
