"Same as other review, I watched a Ted talk and answered self questionnaires… doctor is nice but accused me of lying on the tests when I didn’t understand what I was being asked and she wasn’t allowed to give clarification… Strom is nice too but made therapy feel like a chore."

Dr. DenBoer and her team are not just knowledgeable, but wonderful in their care for patients. I have had doctors of all specialties in the past have me feel belittled, and small, but at Gulfshore, they were more than willing to pause a session to walk me through any negative thoughts or anxieties so I can be my best for the rest of the appointment. That mattered a lot to me. The services I sought out were diagnosis and therapy. I did have extra testing sessions with Dr. Denboer as I would run our time over / tested for accommodations for school, yet she never treated me like a nuisance. Everytime I appeared, she greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing since we last met. It was clear a safe space was important within the practice for her, and she does her best to keep it that way. I keep their cards handy and have already recommended not just friends, but people that I've had conversations with in the streets.
