"Kept waiting for hours! Also was told it would be $200 for the initial visit and turned out to be $900. Was also told not to worry as we would be reimbursed if we submit bill to an online site. The site was out of business in a few months and we of course were not reimbursed. She also spent quite a bit of time discussing herself. Worst experience I have ever had dealing with a so called professional!"

"I believe Beth was probably great but something has happened. We sat in the waiting room for 3 hours. After she showed up she spent 2 hours talking about herself. The visit was supposed to be $200 she charged $400. She diagnosed the situation without ever asking any detailed questions. She promised an email the same night with a receipt and tons of literature. After I cancelled my follow up due to 0 follow up from her, and told her without a superbill to submit to my insurance I would chargeback the visit she finally sent it. Unfortunately it reflected none of what the visit was for. The entire practice is completely disorganized. Don’t waste your time or your money."

"CBT Pinellas is like no other counseling office that I’ve ever been to. Rather than the usual therapy where you just sit there and talk and then talk some more and then finally have a “therapist” dole out a piece of advice once every 3 weeks that sometimes works but mostly only in the short run, I was taught how to control my thoughts. I was taught how to have better relationships with my family and friends. I was taught something new and different every time I had an appointment. The CBT Pinellas has massive white boards hung in every office, and they are always used so when you go to CBT Pinellas, prepare to learn the skills that you will need to fix yourself and your life! "Let me start out by saying that CBT Pinellas is by far the BEST counseling agency in the entire world! That may sound a bit extreme but this is my review and after spending most of my adult life “in and out” of more than 20 mental health professional’s offices throughout the Tampa Bay Area, I was finally able to find the help, guidance, support, and compassion that I needed to learn how to overcome my issues. It did take me a while to get an appointment; we played some phone tag and I did have to wait patiently to be seen, because CBT Pinellas has a bit of a “wait list”. But once I was able to get into CBT Pinellas, I then discovered why there’s such a “wait list”. Beth Lewis is by far the most understanding, non-judgmental therapist that I’ve ever worked with, and she spent so much time and energy(even her own personal time where she wasn’t getting paid) in helping me reach my goals. From the beginning, Beth told me that her goal was to get me better as quickly as I was able to; most other therapists that I’ve worked with wanted me to keep coming back as long as humanly possible, despite my progress or the lack thereof. And I was given a clearly-defined treatment plan, where we worked on figuring out what my goals were and what issues I wanted to tackle. The entire process was collaborative, and it saved my life!
