"Dr. San Jorge is the type of pediatrician every new mom needs! She came referred to me from another mom (with adult kids) who has seen Dr. San Jorge for 30 years. She is the type of Dr. who genuinely cares. Just look at the picture boards in her office; she still talks fondly of everyone on the boards (and some of the pictures look to be from the 90’s). More than being a pediatrician with a big heart, she is so gentle and caring with my baby. She always calls back and even squeezed us in on her lunch break to inspect a blocked tear duct. Her Covid precautions are top notch too! She scheduled our newborn visits so that no one else was in the office. Best of all Dr. San Jorge takes the time to answer ALL my questions and leaves me feeling equipped to handle all these new mom responsibilities. Not only do I know my baby is in good hands, but I also have a key source of support. Dr. San Jorge is a gem!"

"I was given Dr San Jorge as a referral from a friend because I’ve been looking for a new pediatrician. When I called to see if she was accepting new patients, the lady on the phone was THE BEST! So sweet and so accommodating. She said that I wouldn’t need to come in until 9 months for a wellness visit and because my son is only 7.5 months old she would schedule a “meet n greet” with the Dr so I could meet her now. Well, I went in last week and it was AWFUL! The Dr said “come on back” and “you wanted to meet me?” No hi, how are you or nice to meet you. The thing that made me the most angry was SHE NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED MY SON!!! The entire 15-20 minutes I was in the room with her. Like, you’re a baby Dr!!! Seriously?? She just drilled me on why I wanted to change offices and basically bashing my opinions/personal rights as a parent. Then, she said (with ZERO personality) “it was nice to meet you” stood up and walked out. I stood there for a minute confused. The conversation wasn’t over and she never even said if I was welcome to come back and have my son as her patient. Again, the ENTIRE time she never even acted like my son was in the room. How can you be a pediatrician and not even say hello to my child. She was so rude. I cannot believe people actually like bringing their children to her practice."

"She’s the best. If you are looking for a large practice with many physicians, this isn’t your spot. Dr. Maria is a one lady show. Both of my girls have been going to her and I have been so pleased with how responsive, receptive, and helpful she has been. If she’s not in her office (after hours) she calls back within a reasonable amount of time. I’ve called at 10pm, 5am, and on the weekends, always calls me back. She is a “no frills” kinda doctor, what you see is what you get. I like her approach to treating children, leans slightly towards natural approaches. Never feel like prescriptions are pushed on me. I’ve been pleased and hope she stays in practice long after my girls graduate high school (they are 4 and 2)!"
