"My daughter had a recent surgery (tonsillectomy) exactly a week before seeing Dr Valeria. Each day after her surgery she was having more and more pain with barely being able to open her mouth. It seemed that she had jaw pain. I called niklaus children’s hospital and spoke with the ENT office in where she had her surgery and they proceeded to tell me “jaw pain is not their department so I need to call my daughters pcp”. I was taken aback and somewhat disgusted at the level of empathy that they showed towards my daughters pain and a worried mother. I then proceeded to call her doctors office (pediatric associates) and they stated that her doctor isn’t available until July 11 but there was an opening after hours yesterday at 5:15 pm with Dr Valeria. I went ahead and took the appointment and I’m 110% glad I did. I have been unable to have my daughter open her mouth so I can see what is going on in there. And with extreme patience that doctor Valeria had shown through that appointment she also showed extreme empathy towards my daughter and myself seeing as how stressed out I was. She reassured us both that she is going to help us and get her started on a medication that should help. We are going to see her back in two days if nothing has improved! Thank you so much again Dr Valeria!!! Highly recommend her!"
