Dr. Manuel M. Vega, MD

"DR. Manuel Vega is good Doctor, but Nora its very unprofessional. whenever I call for any issue with my child lady on front desk said that she (Nora) call me back. Never received the call back and that upset me because its supposed if any parent call its because the child is it not felling very well. Its sad because DR Vega is a Good Doctor like a said before but that nurse( Nora ) is horrible and unprofessional in this area (Pediatrician).She had every time that we are at the medical office a rude attitude with every question that me and my Husband ask her about my child in that moment. The front desk sometimes take the call no to long but almost every time I call it takes like 30 minutes to somebody take the call. Definitely a bad and rude staff and Manuel Vega it has nothing to do with that."

"Dr. Vega is an amazing doctor, but his front desk staff is the absolute worst. We stopped going to him after my son was born with a cardiac issue and we were told we had to follow up with the pediatrician within 4 days of discharge and the receptionist refused to schedule the appointment. She said the follow up should be at 2 weeks old. I explained what our situation was and that we were specifically instructed to follow up no later than 4 days after discharge and she hung up on me! I called back multiple times and she didn't answer the phone. I wasn't going to take any chances, so I scheduled my son's appointment with a different pediatrician. I tried again several weeks later to schedule a second appointment and was faced with the same attitude and refusal to schedule the appointment because of the timeline. I explained my son's circumstances and asked to please speak with Dr. Vega. She took the message and a few hours later called me back saying Dr. Vega did not want to speak with me and that he could not see my son until next month. I was so disappointed because I have always loved Dr. Vega and he took great care of my other kids, but I was so turned off by that experience that I never went back."
