"I cannot tell you enough to avoid this place! Absolutely horrendous! Held my sons immunization records hostage for $6.50! I had to physically show up in person to get my sons records because they aren't competent enough to use a fax machine. When they asked why we were leaving the practice I said the staff was terrible and can't get anything correct. Insurance was a complete nightmare! Edit to add an update! They fraudulently altered my sons vaccination records because I refused to pay the 6.50 at first! Took the updated records to daycare and they asked why his shots were only good for 2 weeks!? The director of the daycare called to find out what was going on and they said that because I refused to pay for the records, they are legally required to provide me with 1 free physical copy for that they altered his records. They said I was leaving anyways so it's up to my new doctor to provide updated records! My son at the time is technically still a patient there as we have no new physician because they can't fax anything over! After agreeing to return to pay the 6.50 they changed the date back to his birthday. Be very very careful!"

"We are new patients, so far all the staff that has treated us are excellent, very kind, attentive, they explain the entire baby process as they examine them, and what you should do so that our baby grows healthy and strong."

"Amazing, professional, friendly, & knowledgeable staff and Doctor. My 6 year old daughter saw Dr. Nick and he was amazing. He is extremely patient, and took his time explaining everything; while addressing all my concerns. Dr. Nick was very gentle, friendly, and made my daughter extremely comfortable. They even shared a few laughs together. Labs were done at the office, and results were completed and updated in the patient portal before I even made it home 15 minutes later. Highly recommend. Thank you Dr. Nick, and staff."

"Dr. Mehta is great. The receptionist is the WORST. I’ve sent a long explanation to Sunshine but have not been followed up with. She is consistently confused. Does not check her records before asking for repeat information. Argues about everything. Is all around a bad experience. If it was not for Dr. Mehta we would never return here. She makes comments about not supporting requiring vaccines despite working at a clinic that requires them. She is not friendly or welcoming. She just does not fit in with the culture of the office and quite frankly should be replaced with someone more friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable about insurance. It’s a disappointing experience every time checking in with her. At least now it’s mostly on the iPad but I would prefer just a kiosk and to not even interact with her. Sunshine should really consider finding a better “face of the office” because this woman is going to chase off patients/customers."

"Initially chose this practice thinking that it would be a great local alternative for our infant son given it is new to the Zephyrhills/Wesley Chapel area and the reviews seemed OK. While the physician (Dr. Lukert) treated my son spectacularly, the front office and billing department severely lack in providing quality customer service. The front office is insufficiently staffed, the office itself has been constructed to be bare-bones and their "biller" does not respond to phone calls nor has regular hours to address repeated insurance billing concerns spanning months in the making. The on-site receptionist repeatedly voices their issue with the tablet check-in system that consistently has issues but insists that management will do nothing for their patients to address the problem. Despite the above problems, Sunshine continues to open additional offices but has not done anything to correct the existing issues present within their practices. Highly recommend taking your child elsewhere to receive both quality health care AND quality customer service as a parent."
