Dr. William B. Acevedo, MD

"We went with Dr. Acevedo because he was local and had good reviews. We realized quickly that we made a bad decision. Our issues literally began on day one. Our son was born and Dr Acevedo was on vacation, so another doctor filled in. We then went to schedule our 1st appointment with Dr Acevedo which is supposed to be three days after you leave the hospital, they scheduled us nearly a month out. We're first time parents so we weren't sure if this was normal, we called the hospital and they said "no way!". We rescheduled with a different doctor only a week out, they called us back and let us know they spoke to Dr Acevedo and they'd be able to get us in that same week so we went back to Dr Acevedo. A day before our scheduled appointment they called and said it had been cancelled and the new date would be another 10 days out...Our baby would not be seen for almost an entire month. Very scary. We then went on to ask the doctor if they accept our insurance, he opened the door and asked his associates, they said yes. I went to pay after our visit and asked again about insurance again, they again replied that I didn't owe anything and it was taken care of. We scheduled his 2 month shots and 2 days before we received them they gave us a call letting us know they do not accept our insurance and I owed for our list visit and the next visit. This is hundreds of dollars. I paid and cancelled our next appointment. We scheduled with a new pediatrician and needed our paperwork faxed over, they refused to do it same day and made us wait another few days to have it done. They did it on a Friday which made it so we could not schedule our next visit until the fallowing Monday. The entire experience was awful. Please Avoid!!!"

"Very unprofessional. Told me to wait until after the new year to schedule my daughters 4 year appointment so I did then get told they can’t see her for 2 months when she needs a physical for daycare. Another doctor requested records from them for 10 days and they did not send them. I had to leave work early and drive up there and give them a medical record release(which the other doctor faxed to them 10 times) they started speaking in Spanish to each other with me standing right there. The doctor even tried to argue with me. They are never busy but will take forever to see your kid. The doctor is in and out in less than 5 minutes. Do not waste your time here. When I asked for a copy of her records that I can take to the new doctor myself since they are too incompetent to send them they told me I would have to pay for my own kids records."

"I cannot say enough great things about this doctor and his staff! He’s informative, patient, great bedside manner, insightful, all of the good things! My daughter is a little behind on her vaccines and he only gave her 2 to start catching up because he said he doesn’t like to give a lot of shots at once and that is such a rare viewpoint for pediatricians these days! Green flags all around!"

"I am so pleased with doctor Acevedo and the care he provides for my twin daughters.. He does thorough exams and is very detailed. He takes time to get back to me even after hours and holidays. I feel super confident that this will be our pediatrician throughout my girls youth. Very friendly and genuinely cares about his work. I believe he has high standards for his staff and the cleanliness is on point too.I highly reccomend this doctor.I really like the front desk receptionist too. She is very sweet and helpful.thanks for everything!"

"Dr. Acevedo was my Daughter Savannah’s first doctor and we absolutely loved him! His staff Was very nice and welcoming and the whole environment was great! Would strongly recommend him for anyone looking for the best doctor for their new little ones!! We recently moved and had to switch her doctor and I was so upset about it, we even consider driving an hour so that she could keep him as her doctor but things just didn’t work out that way! Absolute best!"
