"I never actually saw this physician. My statements are about her front-line staff. Doctors should know that their front-desk clerks are representing them. I didn't show up early enough before the appointment to do the new-patient paperwork. There was no one in the lobby and there was only one car in the parking lot, but I was told I had to ask for permission to be seen. When I made the appointment, I had asked to have the paperwork faxed to me or let me fill it out online but was told that I could not do that. It makes no sense to me that I can't fill the paperwork out in advance and bring it with me. Still, I got a lecture from the clerk about being late. I don't care to get lectured or to be told something silly when there is no one waiting to be seen but me, so I left and went to see a nurse practitioner instead."
