"The patient in rm# 2402 that checked out 2/15/24 wanted to thank the staff that cared for him during his stay. I would also like to thank Jennifer for all her help. Thanks to all of you. Gloria Holifield"
"First time here I was having a severe headache with aura and possible migraine and siezure and they were convinced I was on drugs instead and gave me a cup to pee in and once that was cleared they did an EKG to check my heart and said "well nothing wrong so you can go".... second time my daughter who is 3 months had a fever of 102.7. Doctors never gave her motrin in the ER just swabbed her nose for different tests for hours while I sat in the lobby and finally 6 hours later I get a room just for them to say it's a UTI and they only prescribe ibuprofen to break fever"
"I’ve been to all the hospitals in this area and by far this is the BEST!! Clean, beautifully decorated, great staff, and wonderful doctors. Thank you North Baldwin for taking such good care of me!!"
"Can't say a word about the hospital. Dunno. But the "Senior Behavioral Health" service on the 2nd floor is where you send people to be drugged and wait to die. Took them 4 days to turn a vibrant, outgoing, walking, talking, opinionated (haha), dementia patient, who was able to care for themselves with assistance (think ALF) into a wheelchair bound, babbling shell, unresponsive to so much as their own name, unable to squeeze a comforting hand, unable to open their eyes, spasming from head to foot with drool running down their face, no idea anyone else was in the room. My shock and outrage were admittedly visible. Somebody went for a nurse. This is the "desired outcome." Patient is "compliant" and "resting well." If you care AT ALL about your loved one, get them out of Alabama completely. As usual, this backwater state is stuck in the wrong century. Thought I'd found an elder ally here even so. Turns out out this facility has ZERO interest in changing it. They're just better at working the system and the legaleeze than most so you don't catch on until its too late. But, whatever you do? DON'T call it chemical restraint, because THAT would be illegal."
"Not by choice but I have been here 3 times. A stroke in Oct of 22, steroid shot to hip Sept 23 and most recent severe sciatica pain Nov 23. Every time I received good care by a friendly staff. I feel like they saved my life with the stroke. Had to fly me to Mobile but they checked everything out and made that call. I really don't understand the low reviews. I'm 3 for 3 with being totally satisfied."
