"I have been seeing Dr. Castillo over 20+ years. When I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer he was very concerned and took care of me like I was a family member. Seeing Natalie was a great experience as well!"
"I am thankful for this entire team. Dr. Francis , Dr.Barinas, and Dr.Fisher all amazing and I truly feel I have the best people working with me. "Dr. Castillo and his staff are amazing!! I’ve been with him for about 4 years now and he truly has helped to completely improve my overall health! He is a great doctor and truly addresses the concerns and issues the parent has. My only problem and concern is the nurse leader Michelle at the infusion center. It’s as if she has an issue with me personally for some reason. First, there was an issue because I’m a hard stick and she felt some type of way because she or another nurse couldn’t get IVs started on me at times. She left me feeling as if because I’m a hard stick that it was a problem for her and she shouldn’t have to spend her time “doing this” and that there were other patients she would rather attend to and would blindly stick me at times just to get it over with. Well soon after my doctor signed off on me getting a port so that issue was resolved. Then the next thing was dismissing my attempt to make a report or file a report against a nurse practitioner whom lied about contacting the doctor and let me sit continuously itching and broken out in hives. She felt there was no reason for me to make a complaint and said she wasn’t going to because she felt that because she was the nurse leader she didn’t have to. I was completely disregarded and told she is the one who files the complaints. Next she called me and yelled at me because I told a nurse what happened about a situation and how I felt. She completely disregarded my feelings and only cared about how she felt. Then the next incident happened was coming at me for tardiness even canceling my appointment as I was on the way. Next she threatened to cancel an appointment even though I was having severe diarrhea and had been limping around unable to walk normally. This was and is something very new that I’ve never experienced and I began to walk slower than normal or be able to do anything normally. I told her and she disregarded what I said to her, didn’t really care and told me that was the last time they would take me for being late. Even though I had a newly developed problem that was undiagnosed and impeding my ability to do things normally. Now she is complaining and threatening to stop my treatment because I took to long in the bathroom and held others up from using the bathroom. However, no one knocked on the door for the bathroom and there was no line upon me exiting the bathroom. As well as the other bathroom was visibly open with no one waiting or using it. She started I always take forever and the next time she’s going to stop my treatment and remove my access if I stay in there that long again. I had been in the bathroom maybe 15 mins and just finished using it right before my nurse knocked on the door. She repeatedly banged on the door and said there were people waiting to use the bathroom. Even though no one but her was outside of the bathroom once I opened the door. Typically when I’m in the bathroom for longer periods of time it is because I am using it for more than just urine. I don’t understand when or why it would be necessary to attempt to dictate how or when I’m using the bathroom and attempt to stop my treatment because of it. This has been ongoing since I started coming to this facility for outpatient treatment and I’ve had enough. There is no one I can file a formal complaint to because she is the person whom those reports/complaints should be filed by. This is unnecessary harassment and trauma I shouldn’t have to repeatedly keep experiencing for the last 4 years. I come here because I need the treatment and the doctor ordered it not to be treated like I have to be perfect and do as I’m told or else. I would like to speak to someone so this can be resolved not swept under the rug."
"I was provided care by Natalie Fisher several times at this facility and have no complaint about her as she is very professional. My issue is about a service provided on January 13th where lab tests were incorrectly sent to process to an external lab instead of AHS labs like my insurance policy states, and now Quest Diagnostics is still billing and harassing me for a mistake by your facility. Had a complaint opened in which supposedly Teresa the manager there was handling it and even offered me her extension if any issues should continue which they have. But until this day I’ve called her and even left her voicemail but no response. Submitted more complaints though AH website but until this day no one has answered nor fix the issue and I am concerned that you practice mistake can send me to collection."
"I’ve been a patient of this office for a number of years. I was a patient of Dr Lukman before she retired and was then transferred to Dr Castillo. I’ve seen him & Natalie since that time. It has been a couple years since my last visit but was referred back by my primary care physician. I made the appointment to see Dr Castillo 7 weeks ago almost. I had my labs sent over from my PCP. I filled out all of the paperwork ahead of time online and submitted my insurance information. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time. I completed everything again. I waited in the waiting room for an hour. I finally asked how much longer it would be thinking that if Dr Castillo had an emergency I could come back at a later time. I was told it would still be quite a bit longer and that waiting up to 2 hours past appointment time is not unusual and is now an acceptable amount of time to wait. I appreciate that Dr Castillo and Natalie both take their time with patients but an average & usual wait of 2 hours is ridiculous & unnecessary. I just wished the office a pleasant day & will seek care at another hematology office where my time is also taken into consideration during scheduling. It’s a shame because I’ve always received a high level of medical care from your staff. I’m an understanding person but this is too much."
