"Dr. Camila Masias Castanon is the most sweet, compassionate, caring, humble, knowledgeable and understanding provider that I have ever come across. The exceptional care that she provides demonstrates the great person and provider that she is. Dr. Masias Castanon listens attentively to all your needs and is extremely dedicated to her profession. I was diagnosed with ITP and was extremely frightened throughout the process. Dr. Masias Castanon made me feel secure and well informed in every decision that I made by thoroughly explaining the whole process in detail without rush. Dr. Masias Castanon is really dedicated to her profession. Even on the days that she was not in the clinic she took the time to provide me with my laboratory results and prescribed me the medications needed. She gives you that secureness, empathy and warmth needed throughout difficult times, which is what the healthcare system is lacking on these days. I absolutely with no doubt recommend this provider for your hematologic needs. I am truly blessed to have met such a great doctor that truly changed my life. Thank you Dr. Masias-Castanon!. May God continue to bless you! :)"
"About two months ago I was referred to Dr. Camila Masias-Castanon after being diagnosed with ITP “ Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura” after getting COVID. On my first visit with Dr. Masias- Castanon, I felt very comfortable explaining to her my symptoms and my concerns. She explained everything she was planning to do according to my blood results. Two days later, Dr. Masias admitted me to the hospital were I spend 30 days under her care. While in the hospital she would visit me & her team ensure me that I was properly informed about my health and the next steps. After several treatments I was finally prescribed Promacta to raise my Platelet counts and lower the risk of bleeding. Unfortunately, my insurance didn’t want to cover my medication at first and in order to be released from the hospital I needed to have this medication. There was an appeal filed with my insurance by Dr. Masias-Castanon. I was told it would be several weeks before the approval. So while visiting her office, I came to find out that she called her Promacta Representative and asked her to bring a 14 days trial so that I wouldn’t be left without my medication. I am so grateful!! Dr. Masias-Castanon is wonderful. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!"

"Dr. Macias with open arms to me under her care when I needed her the most. Dr. Macías and her team have been nothing but great. Always keeping me up to date with my results no matter the time or day it may be. She personally gives you a call to ensure my peace of mind. I am great full for her professionalism, kindness, and caring heart towards me, especially during this pandemic. Highly recommend Dr. Macías"
"My mother was seen by this cold inhuman creature and was basically told she was going to die. I am sickened by her attitude and cruel behavior. The medical oath is that you will do no harm, however this extremely UNPROFESSIONAL being needs to STOP working as a medical doctor and get a job torturing prisoners in Guatanamo. Baptist is an excellent hospital and it's reputation doesn't deserve to get sullied by CAMILA MASIAS."
