"He saved me and my baby’s life! My previous doctor would not listen to me and wanted me to wait a few days for an appointment, I explained to him that I thought I had preeclampsia ( I had it 1x in the past). I wasn’t feeling well and decided to go to near by hospital that my doctor didn’t have rights , by the grace of God Dr. Kotzen happen to be the attending OB that night…. I was immediately admitted due to preeclampsia and put on mag drip and delivered the next day! My whole body was swollen and I was close to having a stroke or seizure! My baby was in the Nicu for 11 days from all the meds they had to give me to keep my pressure down, she was 4 weeks early and also had problem with jaundice. My baby is now healthy and so am I! I’m so grateful that Dr.Kotzen decided to stand up for me, most doctors would not have wanted to treat me or go against another doctors opinion especially with me being so far along and not being there actual patient! I think I could have lost my life as well as my baby’s life, if it wasn’t for Dr. Kotzen! Thank you, I’m forever grateful!"
