"This is not a church. They are not “non-denominational” as they claim to be. If you go here thinking it’s a normal church it is not. I am warning you. They will suck you in to their “bible studies” with one or two leaders there. And they will slowly introduce to you that they actually are part of the International Church of Christ (ICOC). They believe you are not saved unless you are baptized in a certain way/process by their church (to clarify: I mean their “denomination”, not just Campusview but that church body): very unbiblical. They believe in works based salvation and righteousness. In other words, they believe: faith + works = salvation. This is not true: the Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-10, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; NOT OF WORKS, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them”. I am saved by grace through faith which was given to me by God as a free gift (it cost me nothing but it cost Him death on a cross for my sins). I was saved that I might be brought to God and live for Him in doing good works such as being baptized and trying to love Him and others as He loved me. These good works earn me NO favor or merit with God, for I was already saved by His work on the cross. These good works are the RESULT of being saved, and the Holy Spirit working in and through me. That is why it is a joy to follow Jesus and not a burden. Christ is enough. To add any work of your own to what He did on the cross is to spit on His sacrifice and say it wasn’t enough. However, that is exactly what this “church” does. So please, run as fast you can from this “church” and warn others what they are about. They sucked me in when I was a new believer. But praise the Lord, He kept me safe and opened my eyes to the truth in His Word, the only thing I stand on. Please do not be fooled by this group. They are wolves in sheep clothing, seeking to deceive you so that you join their church. Please, I say this out of love, do not take a chance with them as nice as they may seem. Galatians 6:14, “But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” Ephesians 1:13-14 “In Him, you also, after listening to the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, unto the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.” To respond to their response: I love the people at Campusview and pray for their eyes to be opened. It is not slander, but a loving warning. Had the church been upfront in the way of their teaching, not much would need to be said. However, if someone distorts the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and teaches that His payment was not enough, and then they try to cleverly reveal this belief to others rather than be upfront, then I must be straightforward in telling others. Proverbs 28:23 “He who reproves a man will afterward find more favor Than he who flatters with the tongue.” May God give all of you His light to see the truth and trust in Him alone. Christ is enough."
"I'm going to sue you. Thanks for doing what you are supposed to do. I'm glad my sisters safe now. That's sarcasm. You guys are so dumb you don't know what churches were started for. Thanks to the dumb girl that answered the phone and tried to play me like I'm the dumb one. Do some research and you will see this isn't an actual church. Do some research on churches."
"I remember God Beginning my journey on Santa Fe's campus years ago. This young lady named Robin invited me to the bible talk on campus. I enjoyed it. At FAMU my roommate was a disciple and shared with me. I was baptized on December 5 1983. The mission is very possible."
"3 years ago I was in the darkest place of my life and everything was falling apart. I had hit rock bottom, and I saw no hope for a good future. A friend of mine invited me to a bible study and I cautiously accepted the invitation. I have done the “church” thing before and was hardly interested. I have been to churches throughout my life that I felt just wanted money, or I would leave every Sunday still feeling as empty as I arrived. Something was always missing. I am so glad that I accepted that invitation. These disciples rescued me, and made me a part of their family. These people will love you and take care of you. My life has been so much better and I have grown so much as a person. If you are anything like I was hopeless, empty, or lost please give this church a shot. It is none like anything other. The body of Christ saved my life."
