"If I could give a 0 star I would. This doctor Patel almost killed me, and his staff is the worst staff ever. My sister who is in the medical field took a trip to America to check on me because this was my first pregnancy. When she saw me she immediately diagnosed me with preeclampsia, gestational diabetes etc just by looking at me. She found it unbelievable that I was seeing a OBGYN and they didn’t see this. She wrote down a list of test they needed to do including gestational diabetes. The staff was very mad wanting to know who told me about these test etc. The test were done and alllll were positive. My baby stopped moving inside me at 36 weeks because of all the complications my body was experiencing. My husband rushed me to the hospital my b/p was 210/198. I almost died. Doctor Patel would not come deliver my baby. He had me waited for 24 hrs before he came. When they were delivering my baby by C-section after they see that the baby was not responding with all they were doing, during delivery I started throwing up after they took the baby out. I must have blocked out because I woke up the next day and I was in a airbag that was giving my body heat or something. I almost died! My baby was taken to the icu because she wasn’t breathing properly and she kept on turning blue. They have to do brain scans on my baby, my baby had to be on all sort of monitors. I spent 9 days in the Osceola Regional Hospital and I had to leave my baby in the hospital. If I was white I wouldn’t had to suffer the way that I did. I would not recommend Patel to anyone at all. For the 36 weeks I was pregnant I only saw this doctor 3 times! They almost killed me."

"Dr. Patel ended up delivering our first child and helped with the delivery of our third child. When our current doctor retired from practice, we asked for a referral and naturally were led to him. We have great faith in both doctors, as we travel almost an hour to get to the office. Unfortunately, my wife was running 20 minutes late to her first physical. She had to drop off our son first and go down I-4 traffic. Instead of calling on the way to let her know the appointment was cancelled, or (even better), working her in another time slot that morning, they turned her away. God forbid a clinic had to wait on a patient with family situations while at the same time patients wait for 30 min to an hour in most clinics. My wife calls me in tears because we waited weeks for this appointment. This office is managed by a very cold, uncaring person. When I called, she explained they were already overbooked (apparently this is my problem), so my wife had to now take more PTO to drive another 2 hour round trip back to the office. I was calm and did not yell, and was going to see when we can reschedule, and she hung up on me because there was a 2 second break in the conversation. My wife now misses her much needed pregnancy physical and no resource is provided. I hope Dr. Patel reads these reviews to see where he can direct his staff to make needed changes. A good doctor, terrible office."

"I delivered my first daughter 2012. It was smooth delivery. No complications. Dr. Patel and Mary Allen the Nurse Practicioner are professional, caring, they love their job! I really feel the genuine care they gave. The Staff are amazing! Very friendly. My second pregnancy was hard! I had preeclampsia. I was admitted when my baby was only 31 weeks. She was born at 34 weeks. Through out prepartum until I deliver. Dr. Patel was there to support and delivered my baby even he was so busy. He was so patient on my demands. We love him dearly. I am glad he is the doctor of my two babies! Really nice and down to earth doctor."
