"Do not work with this company. They increased my policy by 300% and never notified me. Said I was signed up for paperless, but activated it only after I called to complain about increase without notification. They will steal your money and you will not be refunded. I never once had a claim, zero reason for the hike. Was told my dweling price went from $2k to $12k based on their new assessment for a townhouse less than 1,800 square feet. Crooks!"

"One star as no stars is not an option. Save your money and your time. Stay away from this company. I went through their agent HoneyQuote. After the sale could not get a phone or email reply from the agent. Peoples canceled my policy because they said I had an undisclosed claim, no claim in 20 years. And they claimed they tried to contact me for a roof inspection, after I sent in my wind mitigation inspection. They never called or emailed. They only sent a letter saying canceled. Again stay away from this company. Their quotes are low for a reason."

"They decided after forcing me to get an attorney just to get them to call me back to raise my rates to over $9,000 a year for a 1600 sf home. Absolutely horrible to deal with, never returned phone calls or even tell me WHOM to speak to. Had a dozen different adjusters that obviously didn't know they were my adjuster. Needed to threaten a lawsuit just to get a call. And a 300% increase in premiums. They can burn in hell."

"I am horrified that I was quoted that My 2023 premium was $5700 for my home. I was informed of a premium that was paid to peoples after this quote of a $20,000 increase. No one ever contacted me and now I'm fighting with my mortgage company because they raised my mortgage to $5101.06 a month to cover this increase that I was not informed of. My mortgagee company paid them. I had a Basic plan that never covered anything, and I have had 1 claim out of 7 years of having this plan. I'm in tears"

"I have been waiting 16 months for People's Trust to do the right thing and pay me for the damages done to my home during hurricane Ian. They keep giving me the run around. Now they are taking their clients to court because they had the nerve to take care of their homes themselves and use workers other than their Rapid Response Cree. All I can say is they have a lot of nerve."
