"Careful: although they partner with goodrx as a public pharmacy, they will not honor prescriptions sent to them if you're not a registered client. Do not send prescriptions there!"
"I am thankful and grateful for Douglas Gardens Community Mental Health Center for giving us a delicious Thanksgiving lunch. I enjoy attending the group therapy meetings and coming to the drop in center. I recommend Douglas Gardens to everyone."
"My experiences with DG are well beyond words, "above and beyond " is the only term that's fits every staff member I've interacted with, professional goes without say, and their hearts, attention, and intentions are in the moment of what is at hand. Before DG, my progress was like the tide, in and out,or spiraling, I'm now experiencing a consistent progressive trend......the drop in center is a great time to hangout, break bread, watch movies, play games etc..with an eclectic crew of peers , and peer counselor and supervisor that are all heart . All I have is gratitude ."
"I go to their drop in center, and they let me do all kinds of exciting art work on their post boards for the Fall season. This kind of Creative Therapy does wonders for my soul. A very pleasant, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment to make meaningful and friendly social connections with other like-minded people! If you have unreasonable and distorted expectations, then surely you'll set yourself up for disappointment and feel left out. With the help of psyche medicine and talk therapy, I was able to put myself together with their guidance. Time heals the scares, and so, also the people there assist you with help to heal from warped and distorted realities! Thank you D.G.C.M.H.C. for making my life livable again!"
"DO NOT GO HERE, IF YOU MUST AVOID DR. VIVIAN OLTI-WEISSBRUN!! Worst psychiatrist ever. You can not get a hold of the doctor at all even in an emergency during work hours. My father was there at a heightened stage of mania due to his bipolar I disorder. Not only did she suggest giving him whatever he wanted to keep him calm (ie. marijuana) but also sent him home with my mom instead of hospitalizing him as he should be. He showed clear signs of being aggressive and in a complete manic state, only to be lost outside and in need of police assistance to find him. Doctor could care less about her patients. Her non-professionalism was evident when doing the research afterwards unfortunately and finding that she has only 1 star reviews everywhere for not caring for her patients well-being at all. Medicare should do a better assessment of the doctors they are just throwing money at and patients are the ones suffering."
