The administrative staff is also phenomenal (Brian is the best!), and they really do everything to make sure you’re comfortable and able to grow through their program. "I was referred to the Telstone IOP when I told my once a week therapist that I needed more help. This was my first experience with group therapy; I found it to be very helpful. Jackie is a very talented therapist. I learned about myself through art therapy and creative writing assignments… And then sharing those insights in group. The therapy is very well organized with the first hour or so spent on “check-in”, and the rest of the time spent on a specific subject or skill for the day. By the way, in several places Telstone refers to the IOP as a drug and alcohol addiction program. I did not have a drug or alcohol addiction. This was not the focus of the therapy I was in. Some of the clients in my group were in recovery. I don’t know about other programs that Telstone has. When I entered the program, I was struggling with deep depression and anxiety."
