"We came to see Dr. Figueroa after a horrible experience with another PCP. My husband is dealing with prostate cancer and needs to have an outpatient procedure in order to start radiation ASAP. We changed health insurance plans, but went to a "meet & greet" session in December, as to inform the new doctor what was going on. That doctor was our worse nightmare and my husband procedure had to be cancelled. What a blessing in disguise! I called Dr. Figueroa's office to make a "new patient" appointment. Spoke to Yolanda. When I explained to her what was going on, she secured us an appointment for the next day! When we got to the office, next day, what a difference!! From the moment you step in, you feel at ease. The ambiance is so welcoming, cozy, yet elegant. Yolanda and Kimberly are amazing. Great attitude and easy smiles and kindness. Dr. Figueroa gave us his undivided attention for over 30 minutes. We were talking to HIM, not a person looking at a computer trying to rush us out of the office. He asked questions, and spoke to my husband at length, getting all the information needed, not only about his prostate but his overall health and lifestyle. Gave us some great suggestions on how to improve some areas that need improvement, showing his concern. He was absolutely easy to talk to, humble, caring, friendly, respectful. We were in awe. He is awesome, and I feel so blessed we were able to find him! We are hoping to have him for many years to come."

"I've been with VIP Care for about 12-13 years. There were a few times in the beginning where the staff needed training. The Dr.'s that have been in the office have been very good with listening, ordering anything needed to find answers, always kind and compassionate. I do have to admit the staff in the past 5-6 years have been much better. Melony came in and whipped it into shape. Now the staff is so much better at their job and very much appreciated. The Dr. Dr. Figueroa has been very, very informative, kind, exhausting all options to find answers and not just prescribing meds., but fixing problems. He goes out of his way to get answers, and taking care of you! I recommend him for PCP often. If I have any questions I can call and get answers with no problems. I have developed a kind of bond with the office and my Dr. and I like that they know me by name and always are kind and do for me. It's nice to be called friend. They even surprise me sometimes and call just to see how im doing. Like, who does that anymore? Well, they do! Puts a smile on your face. I definitely recommend VIP Care. They get back to you in good timing and don't leave you hanging. Thank you VIP Care for the care over the years. I do appreciate our interactions and care I have received since being here."

"I had a follow up appointment with Dr Figueroa on 7/28/2023 when the doctor reviewed all my recent blood work done 2 weeks earlier. The doctor went over all my numbers in detail and assured me that my health was improving since my last visit with him. He explained that the newer medications were showing good overall results and to continue with them and he would follow up in three months with me. The doctor is very thorough and easily understood when he speaks to me. I love having Dr Figueroa and all his staff taking care of my primary care needs."

"I just love all aspects of Dr Figueroa's office. The atmosphere is a step back into the 50's which is welcomed by myself and other patients. Brings us back to hometown memories. I am always treated with respect by all employees on Dr Figueroa's staff. And they all know my name by site. Any requests for services are always attended to immediately, especially for authorizations from my insurance company. The premises are clean and organized the way it should be. Dr Figueroa has in-house lab and other testing available when needed right in the office. Carotid artery testing is one example. Check with office personnel for a list. They are always happy to help in many ways. Dr Figueroa has a great bedside manner and has a very nice personality which puts myself and other patients in a good mood. He is very down to earth and knowledgeable. He follows my case with office visits every 3 months and of course if I have any medical issues in between I am seen right away. I feel very lucky to have found Dr Figueroa and always refer people to him as much as I can. He actually cares about his patients and their well being. I hope he's around a long time to come.
