"Very poor customer service. Didn't get the proper instructions to get on the zoom call. Had to call the day before and the day of and wait over 20 minutes for a person to answer the phone. Now this is the second doctor who is leaving Life Stance. I don't think this is the best place for James. I will discuss this with him.Work on your practice and hire more people."
"Lifestance Health has been an absolute game-changer for me, and it's all thanks to two members of my team, particularly my doctor Pam Sanders. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication have truly transformed my life. From the moment I stepped into her office, I felt heard, understood, and supported. Dr. Pam's medication management skills are unparalleled, and I can confidently say that her interventions have saved my life. She goes above and beyond, extending appointments when needed and actively listening to my input and research to craft personalized treatment plans. In addition to Sanders, my therapist Ashley B. has been a beacon of light on my journey to wellness. Ashley seamlessly integrates various therapy techniques and provides practical tools like worksheets for at-home use, making therapy feel holistic and impactful. Her infectious positivity, southern charm, and genuine care create a safe and uplifting environment where I feel empowered to tackle challenges head-on. One of the standout features of Lifestance Health is their commitment to accessibility through telehealth options. Whether it's a virtual session or an in-person visit, the convenience factor has been a lifesaver, especially during challenging times. Overall, my experience with my two doctors at Lifestance Health has been nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the unparalleled care of Dr. Pam S., Ashley B. They have not only improved my mental health but also enriched my life in countless ways. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the rest of Lifestance, specifically billing, scheduling and anything where you actually have to call into the office. While Lifestance Health excels in providing top-notch clinical care, I must address some significant drawbacks in their administrative processes. Firstly, their billing system leaves much to be desired. In my experience, invoices or statements are often delayed and lack clarity, making it challenging to understand the charges. This inconsistency adds unnecessary stress to an already vulnerable situation. Additionally, the wait time for assistance over the phone is nothing short of exasperating. Whether it's for billing inquiries or scheduling changes, the wait time can range from 30 minutes to a staggering two hours. This extended wait time is frustrating and inefficient, detracting from the overall patient experience. I will say trying to communicate through the online message portal with doctors can be frustrating as more often than not half of my messages are not responded to, I assume this is because their side of the system is not easy to use or has some issues to be worked on with how it stacks messages, or if two messages are sent in the same day only the first message will receive a response. Additionally if you reply to a previous message it will copy all previous messages into one big lump, making it difficult to read, not just for myself but also I assume for the care team on the other side trying to respond. Now that I am once again waiting on the phone for hours just to reschedule an appointment I must leave only one star for a review. The hold time just to reschedule is insane and the fact that this cannot be done in the patient portal is ridiculous. Furthermore, their cancellation policy seems overly stringent. While I understand the need for a cancellation policy, requiring cancellations two business days in advance and penalizing missed appointments with the full fee regardless of circumstances feels excessive. Moreover, the process of rescheduling appointments is unnecessarily arduous, often requiring another lengthy wait on the phone. In summary, while Lifestance Health's clinical care is commendable, improvements are needed in their administrative procedures, their phone system and their online message portal to ensure a smoother and more user-friendly experience for patients. I sincerely want to thank Pam and Ashley for their amazing work, and their delightful personalities and would recommend them over any other doctors I've worked with at Lifestance."
"I love the professionalism of Dr Mutinta Tembo, was always afraid of talking with a psychiatrist, but she has a way of making you feel comfortable and it doesn't feel like you are being evaluated or judged in anyway, she helps you work through your issues and if medication is needed she figures out what works for you. I would highly recommend her. She is not only a Doctor but a great person all around. Thank you Dr. Tembo for taking the time to help me become the real me. She totally gets me."
"I went to my Psychiatrist to help me get a handle on the so many meds I've taken for years. In the process of changing one now. It's difficult and I do tend to be a bit irritable. Within in 3 weeks hope to be on the new med and doing better. She is well educated, test you for different issues you have. Recommend them but do an in office visit. My last doctor diagnosed me over a 10 minute video call. Just added more meds. Give them a try..."
"Beware! Would give negative stars if I could. They don’t really have an office staff, it must be a call center or something. I had to abruptly go out of town for a funeral and tried to call to cancel my therapy appointment as well as my psychiatrist appointment. I waited on hold for over an hour, three different times Just to not reach anyone. So finally, I chose a different option, I chose the new patient option and got through straight away. I told the lady that I’ve been trying to call over and over and over and had been stuck on hold over an hour each time while taking away time with my family. She told me I would have to still wait on hold with that department and that she couldn’t do anything. All I wanted was a voicemail or an email so that I could let someone know, this would’ve made things much easier. When someone just needs to change an appointment, you should really at least have a mailbox set up so that we can leave voicemails. Waiting on hold for well over an hour is honestly ridiculous. I’d like to add that I also chose the callback option and never got a call back, ever. This caused me so much unnecessary anxiety while visiting family, for a funeral, that I had a couple of panic attacks. The therapist and psychiatrist I had were both great, but after that issue, I could never go back to this place again."
