"I called your office in complete abdominal distress on 8/8/22 at 8:02am, 9:30am and then again at 2:30pm. It wasn't until my 2:30 call - 6 1/2 hours later - that you informed me you couldn't bring me since I had COVID; this could have been communicated to me at 8:02am. Later that day, the ER determined I had acute appendicitis; it was necrotic and had burst. In the post-operative days that followed, each and every surgeon asked why I waited so long to get to the ER. While I certainly don't 'blame you' for my condition, I believe your delay (poor staffing choices??) certainly contributed to my condition. I will no longer be trusting your office with my health care needs."
