"Dr & staff was friendly & caring. Appointment wasn’t rushed, everything was explained thoroughly, thankfully everything is good with my baby. My appointment was for 12:40, I called around 11:57 to advise I was going to be a little late due to traffic & coming from Loxahatchee to Boca. Call was answered at 11:58, I was in the middle of explaining & got hung up on 12:00, when I called back got “we are on lunch please call back during normal work hours” message. Once arrived, receptionist was not welcoming, looked bothered to do her job & seeing other reviews it’s probably the same person. Thankfully the staff that roomed us made up for that. To check out, same attitude & was asked if I would like to schedule the follow up now? I said I can call back to schedule. She said well just to let you know that Dr is scheduling 3-4 months out so if you call close to the 6 months you will probably be seen months after, I responded right I said that because I have to check my work schedule. I too work in a busy endocrinologist office as a MA, I know how it goes from start to finish with 4 full time providers, as well as how the phone system works. Ring central doesn’t hang up calls on its own, & you can tell when someone hangs up an office phone. Once 12 hits our answering machine is the same for lunch, although if I’m already on a call it doesn’t hang up. To schedule a follow up, you are asking a patient a question, if the response is no, you can YES, kindly advise that the providers schedule gets filled quick IN A NICE WAY & let them know to give us a call when ready to schedule their follow up. Her attitude just made me feel pressured & loud too, when I walked out to the lobby all the patients looked at me, I don’t like that. Seems like she has multiple bad days where numerous people have had to make a review? Hopefully someday she has a good day, as to she doesn’t say that either. Thank you for the service to the Dr & nurses."
