"**I almost never write reviews, and I truly hope that Dr. Reyes is unaware of how unprofessional and rude his front office staff is. I also would like to point out that at this time, his office is REFUSING TO RELEASE MY SON"S MEDICAL RECORDS TO ME, because I "have a bad attitude". Currently researching where I can report this.**** We had a 9:00 appointment and were 10 minutes late. Door was locked. When asked why there front door was locked, we were told the doctor has the only key and had not arrived. Were taken back and my 6 month old was given a the normal vitals, and an EKG. Were told but nurse that she would "let the doctor know we were ready for him". Waited a few minutes and at 9:50, I walked out to ask if the doctor had even arrived to the building yet. Was told that the receptionist had "texted" him and they were not sure where he was, but were certain he would be there soon. We decided that since our appointment was approximately an hour prior, the doctor should've been there by then. Asked to have the doctor call us when he made it in. Left around 9:55, being told that the doctor would call as soon as he arrived, thanked the staff on the way (not their fault), and were ignored by the receptionist. Called at 1:30 and was curious if doctor was in yet. Was told that he arrived with other patients waiting and he had to see them, and would call at the end of his day after his 3:00 appointment ended, around 4:30. Never received call. Called the next morning around 11:00, and was told that the office had placed a call and voicemail to me 20 minutes after I called the day prior. I was at home all day, and have no missed calls or voicemails. Was then told we need to reschedule and "start the process over" and was also lectured on being late to my appointment, and was corrected, being told that I was 12 minutes late, not 10. I was also corrected and told that I only waited 10 minutes, and had I waited longer, the doctor would've been there just a few minutes after we left (even though we were told earlier he had patients waiting and there was not a single person in the office when we left. Explained that we would find a new doctor, and asked for records to be either emailed or faxed to us. The receptionist continued to lecture me on how I should've waited, and that I was late. I asked here to stop talking over me, and lecturing me, and to let me know if she preferred email or fax. I was then told that my attitude was terrible, and I could call back when it was better. True, it was poor, and I was frustrated, but I was careful to never use foul language, or act unprofessional. I was then hung up on. I have called back 3 times, and they have not answered a single time. My wife had to call from a different phone and they picked up immediately. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional medical staff, or been treated like I mattered so little."

"Dr. Reyes is an experienced and talented cardiologist that practices with kindness and respect for his patients and their families. He has taken care of two of our daughters as if they were his own. He has always been honest and forthcoming with us. Through several very complex surgeries and recoveries he always remained hopeful and reminded us to do the same. He thoroughly enjoys watching our daughters grow and thrive. Dr. Reyes is always available to answer our questions and concerns and has never made us feel like our concerns were not valid. What I truly appreciate about him is that he has made us, as parents, an integral part of our children's care team. We completely trust our littlest hearts in his hands."
