"I would never suggest anyone to this office. Their professionalism is horrible. After being a patient with this office and family has all been here as well. They do not care for their patients how they say they do. They withdrew my kids out the system without making me aware. The doctor is never in office but what ever her employees tells her she believes is even when they are at fault and wrong. Dont take your kids here it’s not a good place at all. They are lucky to receive one star because they don’t deserve a star"
"AN ABSOLUTE SHAME! Being on vacation in the area and our 6 year-old daughter had high fever, we booked a last minute appointment on their website. The appointment was confirmed at 7:30am the next day. We woke our daughter up early, went on site and spent 20 minutes filling the patient info and insurance. They took us into a room ready to be examined. Then the nurse came back saying the doctor declined the appointment and refused to treat my 6 year-old daughter because she was a new patient. We even offered to pay the consultation in advance as a guarantee of payment. But the doctor didn’t even care talking to us and the nurse advised us to go to the closest ER! When an appointment is locked and the insured patient is all set into an examination room, it only takes a few minutes to treat a fever that obviously isn’t a good fit for an ER. This is OUTRAGEOUS and a SHAME to the Hippocratic Oath!"
"Office management 1 star. Drs and nurses 5 stars. We moved here 5 years ago as we work for the GOV. For 5 years we have brought our kids here. For 5 years the the doctors and nurses have been great the entire time. Why we left and filed complaints with our insurance provider is over what we believe to be office management. In early 2023 we took our son to the urgent care on a Saturday as the office was closed. He was having an allergic reaction. On Tuesday we received a letter from the Drs. office stating they received information from our insurance that we took our child to the urgent care and that they would not tolerate this, they were going to drop us as clients because we didn't confer with them prior to. We immediately reached out to our insurance provider and they had not even received the claim from urgent care yet, so the staff at the drs office lied about receiving this information from our insurance and likely was only passed the notes from the urgent care. Confused we attempted to contact the Drs office to make sure we understood what the reprimanding letter they sent was about and we were met with unprofessionalism and near discontent. Our insurance also reached out to them over the issue. Insurance came back and said we should likely find another office. Out of pure ease and proximity, logistically, we stuck around. This fall, our kids go for routine check ups, get flu shots and we were told both 10 yo and 8 yo needed HPV. Confused over it being administered at this early of an age, we said no and would study up on it and then come back with a better informed decision. (we're not anti-vaccinators!). We were then told, in person & then by letter that because we don't believe in their style of treatment, we would not be seen any more by them. This letter and the previous appeared to be generically generated letters. We again conferred with insurance and medical professionals with whom we are friends that live elsewhere and they agreed this approach by the office staff was not only unprofessional, but bizarre. So we found another pediatrician office in Coral Gables that is much better set up, cleaner, less congested and treats you like the customer you deserve to be. You're also not separated by curtains as if you're in some 3rd world country (but if it works, it works i suppose). Again, the gripe has never been with the doctors/nurses at this office or the services they provided. They have always been nice, responsive and we'd like to think that the letters that are sent out to us and apparently many others are being sent unbeknownst to them."
"Time with doctor is short, nothing else is. I can’t put into enough words in one review the multiple (4) bad experiences we encountered while bringing my child here. But what I will make a priority to emphasize is that first, they do not care about your time so scheduling an appointment is useless. Second, they do not actually listen to what you are trying to tell them. As a veteran I called Tricare and switched providers and would rather take my child somewhere else. I would rather be inconvenienced to drive as far as I need to in order to get the care for my child than to go back to this place ever again."
"If you could avoid going here, I’d say do it because the experience we had was horrible. First of all, they make you answer the most RIDICULOUS questionnaire about your kids. I mean it was like 15 minutes of the most ridiculous questions. I took my newborn son there for his first appointment and they noticed my daughter was coughing so they checked her out. They gave my daughter some medicine without even telling us what it was. And then came in and said “we’re going to give her the flu shot” without even knowing if she had the flu #1, and #2 without even consenting if it was okay. We immediately said no because that’s not something we want for our kids, then they told us they can no longer offer us treatment if we don’t want our kids to be vaccinated for the flu. Then they proceeded to prescribe my daughter FOUR different medications without even testing her for anything!! They didn’t test her for COVID, the flu, nothing, just prescribed her some random medications. It is 100% a choice and I think it is completely wrong to deny someone service if they choose what they want for their children. I went back to pediatric associates and it was just night and day difference in the service I received. Never again."
