"A place where time stands still. Several small gift shops onsite. A nice dining experience by the dock. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean and updated. Staff are friendly. Pelicans and tarpon are stars of the show. Can get super busy. To visit is free, but there is a nominal fee of $2.50 per person to enter the dock area to see the tarpons and pelicans. A small bucket of shads to feed tarpon will set you back $5. Well worth it. These prices are as of this writing. Will visit again to do the snorkeling excursions or maybe even rent a boat. Overall exciting experience."

"Rob of Islamorada was AWESOME. Before moving to Florida I’ve visited the state countless times and I am so glad I finally made it down there. Feeding the tarpon his unlike any other experience although it’s important to note, the pelicans are relentless! So when feeding the tarpon be sure to cover your bucket. It’s important to know that the best time to view the tarpon is when the water conditions are clear. And always remember if you see a manatee, do not touch your feet it! Absolutely loved all of the little shops to look at and beautiful art pieces to buy. If you’re visiting on the weekend, definitely get there early as parking fills up fast!"

"We had this on our list of things to do for the last several trips to the keys. Would’ve, could’ve been more fun without kids, maybe.. the pelicans truly ruined the tarpon feeding experience. They were everywhere and aggressive, especially for children. The gal did warn us but definitely an unexpected factor. Price for that seemed fair, but everything else seemed touristy-high. We didn’t even opt to eat there after paying “admission”. Still worth checking out if you’re passing through. Looks busy from the highway but it wasn’t overly crowded and found plenty of parking."

"Nice place, always crowded on the weekends. The food, drinks and service, at the restaurant, were very good! Nice little "artisan" and souvenir market, too. My only complaint is that they had someone, that works in the dock area, come out wielding a metal stick, waving it around to chase off all of the Pelicans. It looked pretty friggin barbaric (not to mention the dock was packed with people)... there has to be a better way to disperse the crowd of Pelicans away from the docks. This just looked immature and cruel. I even heard one patron say that he wished he had a machete. Nothing like inciting wildlife abuse. So please do better, optics are everything."

"We stopped because a friend told us to check it out. It was definitely an interesting place. It was fun and we enjoyed it. I fed the tarpon and we had lunch here. The food was alright, but nothing special. Parking is crazy and the place feels like you are at a state fair. I'd recommend checking it out if you are looking for something to do, but I probably wouldn't go back just to eat."
