Dr. Pravak: professionalism, kindness, courtesy are part of his excellence! The technicians and support staff: Jills, Jerika, Anna, the front desk ladies deserve my recognition too, excellent people. "Very unprofessional and rude! Was referred to Tyson Eye through Va Community care Thursday Feb 8 to see Dr. Birr for a routine eye exam. I had no eye issues, except needing a new prescription for glasses. I had a great experience, with her and her staff with the exception an admin/billing specialist. I got eyes dilated and the whole bit. The admin lady, not very customer service oriented, didn’t know much about getting treatment from the Va, but pretended too advising incorrect info. Friday February 9th, I noticed pain and a little swelling in my right eye, didn’t think much of it. Monday February 0740 returned to Tyson Eye, my eye VERY painful, swollen, barely can see and open, fluids coming out. So, as I’m at Tyson eye as it was the last place I got treatment, as well was told if I had any issues return. Same admin is upfront, told here that my issues are more the likely a result of being here and I need help. I was told to sit down and wait for another Dr to check me out. Admin woman, instead of asking me up to the desk, tells me from across the room that she called insurance and that Va won’t cover my visit unless I’m going to pay cash for the visit. I can’t believe they let me walk out looking like this."

"Tyson office is great! Everyone is professional .I love Dr Birr ,she takes her time with you and makes sure you are completely satisfied with your visit and answer all your questions. You never feel rushed. All the staff is amazing and educated in there field. I am moving out of this area and they will be hard to replace. Thank you ."
