"Everyone that works there is very nice, I take my mom there for her treatment, I wish that wasn't the case, but it is, the nurses are very nice to her also the Doctor. For that I am thankful for this place."
"Exactly 10 years ago jun 2011 one week after my mom died of stomach cancer in NJ, i was diagnosed with stage four tonsil cancer, at age 52. My wife luckily works for HCA, for the last 20 years so thankfully i had great coverage. After a local ENT recommended a biopsy and it came back positive for cancer, central florida cancer inst was highly recommended. I went for 33 twice daily radiation treatment once in the morn, then again the afternoon, and once weekly for the chemo. Friends and family told me dont get chemo, it will killl you. Good thing i didnt listen to them and listened to my doctors. It saved my life. Two of the radiologists, Who treated me daily, were the best ever, ken, and Michelle, and two other chemo nurses who dont work there any more Daphne and Katina, were also extremely caring. To this day i consider them friends, on the tenth anniversary of my diagnosis, were having lunch together. It was a rough road, i lost 50 lbs and had to have a feeding tube in my stomach for 5 months, but but by Xmas 2011 i was cancer free. I couldn’t have made it without them, they were there at every step, giving advice, what to expect, how to cope. I was very very lucky. Today i am fine, had my ENTscoped me and 100% cancer free ten years later. I look forward to buying them lunch tomorrow….."
"This office is nicely appointed and pleasant, with plenty of parking. We would have given 5 stars EXCEPT our experience at the Davenport Office with one of the receptionist named “NANCY”. Her interaction with us was below the standards of professionalism. We were trying to work through a problem encountered regarding my husband’s appointment with Dr Lustig. “ANGELIS” a pleasant and professional receptionist was attempting to understand and solve the problem. “Nancy” was dismissive and snarky in her demeanor. Not sure what Nancy’s problem was but her body language, behavior and tone in speaking was dismissive and perceived by us as condescending. I cannot believe Dr Lustig nor his team of amazing doctors would agree with the way Nancy conducted herself today. Regardless of the business we are in, it’s not what we say but how we say something; especially when interacting with the public who happen to be patients. After speaking to the office manager named Mandy, it seems everyone professionally worked toward resolving the problem as oppose to Nancy who behaved as though it didn’t matter to her."
