"VERY RUDE front desk woman this morning!!!…. Even she saw me standing there, waiting to be checked in, she took her time before helping me, and then told the doctor that I was very late. But it was also the tone of voice she used to talk to me!… It’s the first time I have a negative experience at this place! Dr. González is one of the AMAZING doctors at this office!!!"

"Please think long and hard before following a doctor here! The physicians are very good, however the supporting staff is less than stellar! At times they are rude, uncaring. You will NEVER!!!!!! get a call back from anyone no matter how many times you call!!! I can’t even get a return call from the office manager to file a complaint! Simple things like calling in meds you have better luck winning the lottery and being struck by lightening! It is said in the medical field a Doctor is judged by his/her staff and that is what brings patients in/drives patients away and the doctors here are suffering as are their reputations due to the staff! Time for a new PCP! I sit here running out of important meds and have been dealing over 10 days with trying to get someone to call in refills! Ridiculous! Have 2 stars because of MD’s otherwise a 1 would be generous!"

"I have been well cared for at NCH Family Medicine. The receptionists at the front desk are efficient, extra helpful when I have a question, and friendly with the masses of people who frequent the facility. Their job must be made extra difficult because they are dealing with those of us who do not feel well or are nervous about a procedure when will be done."

"I have been a patient here for a couple of years and am always happy because I'm receiving the best care I could ask for. Dr Gonzalez and the entire staff are awesome, caring people who take the time to listen to my concerns. Whenever I've needed something, the staff always took care of me in an efficient and timely manner. You're in great hands at this clinic."

"Dr. Gonzalez is not a bad doctor, she’s just placed her faith in the wrong staff. The NCH off Bonita Beach Road has the most irresponsible staff I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. Today alone: I have been calling their office since 8 am to get a link to my virtual consultation for an appointment at 10 am which they never sent. It wasn’t until 8:30 am that someone answered. When I asked about the phone being off the line and redirected to their answering service for the first half hour of the workday I was told “Oh haha, it’s a Monday! Phones are always a little funny in the morning ha.” Which I interpreted as “I’m too lazy to answer the phones Monday mornings lol” Fast forward. I got the link and was waiting for my session to start. After waiting for half an hour I hang up and call the office. I explained what happened and was told “Dr. Gonzalez will call you back” to which I asked if she would be calling through the Zoom link or if I should be expecting a call on my phone. Her response “Umm, Dr. Gonzalez will call you” when I asked her to confirm the method (Zoom or phone call) she said no and I hung up. Then around 11:15 I get a phone call from Dr. Gonzalez who apparently had been waiting for me on Zoom. She had even told “the girls” that I needed to be on the Zoom call. Moving on, as a result of my appointment I was asked to come in for lab work. Sure! I show up at 12:15. Sorry! “Lab is closed from 12-1.” That would have been nice to have been told on the phone but it wasn’t a priority I guess. I went home and around 2 pm called them back and asked “ what time time do the labs close?” To which I got back a VERY certain “3:45 pm”. I told my boss I’d be leaving early and went to NCH for the second time that day. I get there and what am I told? “Oops haha labs close at 3!” There were 3 girls on staff at the front desk. All clueless. All destroying this facility’s reputation. I walked out and one actually had the nerve to yell “you’re welcome” at me. What should I be welcome for? The fact that you people have wasted so much of my time, all in a single God-awful day? I hope they get better staff, preferably with experience and an ounce of respect. Their current staff is destroying this place, I never had these issues at NCH. I already have an appointment with another doctor outside of this healthcare network. I hope Dr. Gonzalez goes somewhere where the staff is as on par with her abilities, it’s a shame to see how these receptionists have been treating patients at NCH. I called to speak to the office manager and, of course, “She’s off today haha”. Thank you Jessica."
