"The office is managed well and appointments were set up efficiently to meet my schedule. I was a little surprised that my appointments were not always with the staff member I was scheduled with. Brian was excellent, but only worked with me twice during my treatment period. Some PT assistants were better than others with attentiveness and suggestions for individual needs. Overall, my improvements were noticeable, although it is hard to judge if they could have greater if more individual challenges were added as therapy progressed. The "at home " plan was never updated during the treatment and ther was no final evaluation of improvement or suggestions for continued work at home provided. There is limited strengthening equipment compared to larger facilities."

Bryan initiated a plan of exercises based on my specific needs, and this plan expanded as I worked with the other therapists. Often I felt challenged by the exercises but not intimidated. As I began to improve, I realized that I had not only gained strength but confidence as well. This is the most caring group of physical therapists I’ve ever worked with. "FYZICAL Punta Gorda has only grown and gotten better since I first came in the fall of 2016, when they were first opening their doors. Then Bryan was the only physical therapist present and did a fantastic job, but now he has an additional 2 therapists who are just as amazing to work with! When I heard I was going to need physical therapy again after another surgery, my first thought was that I needed to contact FYZICAL! I emailed Bryan and immediately got a response saying that they would love to work with me and that I could schedule my first few appointments immediately. Scheduling appointments at FYZICAL is truly easier than at any other facility I have been too. They offer times from before 8 am all the way until dinner time, and always have availability when you needed it. Victoria at the front desk is great and is always able to get you appointments at a time that works for you and or with the therapist you would like to see that day. Each of the therapists that work here are absolutely delightful. Bryan, the owner and head physical therapist, is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He manages to provide challenging exercises that each patient feels comfortable doing, making them stronger in the process. In fact, my favorite aspect of all of the therapists here is that they really listen to the patient. Yes, they are there to challenge you and make you the best self you can be, but if you are uncomfortable or in any bit of pain, they want to know! They will either adjust the exercise to benefit you better or scrap it and immediately come up with a new exercise that addresses whatever concerns you had! At other physical therapy facilities I have been to, this is not always the case, so I truly appreciated that. The next therapist is Leann. I tended to work with her the most and was so happy that I did! She always works to make you smile and enjoy being there. Again, she listens and is extremely collaborative with the patient! Whenever I brought up a difficulty I was having at home (for example walking down stairs) she would change her plan and create exercises that reflected the weakness I was trying to fix. She is definitely one of the driving forces in me achieving all of my physical therapy goals! The last therapist is Heather. Heather is also great to work with and very friendly. Whenever I had an appointment with her I knew that I was going to come home feeling like I just had a good workout. She always helped push me to do exercises with either more reps or a higher weight, and truly helped to strengthen my leg. Overall, everyone who works here at FYZICAL is so sweet and truly work together to help you achieve everything you wanted and more! If you are in the Punta Gorda area and are in need of physical therapy, please visit FYZICAL! They have a clean and innovative facility, an amazing staff, and are so workable with your schedule and needs! They go above and beyond, letting you stay past your appointment time to continue working some days, and are always available to help you or give advice! If I am ever in need of physical therapy again you can bet I will be going back to FYZICAL, which I am sure will only continue to get bigger and better!"
